"Very good service with nice staff. Both dinner and breakfast are delicious. Room is spacious and tidy."

"It's a great location away from the busy life of the city. The lake is crystal clear and great to swim in though we did not see other swimmers. The rooms are small, yet suffice. I'll probably come back again. "

"The staff were very accomodating and communicative. They truly seemed to care that we understood everything about our stay, especially as foreigners who are here to learn."

"My family of 3 had a wonderful time and our 8 year old was delighted with the baths, the kid dinner and buffet. Our only complaint was the dinner restaurant happened to have a lot of loudly screaming children which diminished the experience a bit."

"The hotel was clean, the staff was helpful and attentive. "

"The onsens are beautiful. The staff is incredibly friendly. Could use a more regular dusting but overall our stay was amazing. The food is fabulous! "

"Great food and beautiful location"

"This is a very local non touristy village. We enjoyed the hospitality (even if we couldn’t communicate) The owner helped accomadate my sea food allergy. We really liked the hot bath available in the beautiful water. The only thing I would say is that it isn’t close to anything and you have to walk about 22 minutes to the train "

"The hotel was gorgeous, it gave you that really comforting feeling especially after a full day of walking. We booked the private spa due to having tattoos it was magnificent, definitely book the half board the staff for dinner and breakfast were amazing! I absolutely loved the restaurant ladies they were such welcoming people and loved to feed us. Thank you all for such an amazing experience"

"neat and clean, a hotel with full of hospitality."

"Very spacious and quiet! Excellent value for money!"

"Staff was so helpful in every possible way. Hope I am lucky enough to find others like it elsewhere in Japan! "

"The AC was super dirty. Other than that the house was great. Location is also perfect with a nice restaurant across."
