“Fantastic location! The space was bigger than expected and more than met the needs of our group (7). The host was attentive and accessing the apartment was incredibly easy.”

Apartment was small, hot water took a long while to get warm, only provided 2 towels and 2 washcloths for 3 people (5 night stay), 1 partial roll of toilet paper provided, floor in bathroom had cracked tiles with small pieces missing and a/c unit stopped working on second day. Maintenance was prompt to fix the a/c but host never responded to requests for more toilet paper and towels. We did get more toilet paper and 2 towels from……

This wasn’t a problem for us, but I could understand light sleepers or people hoping for a quiet or romantic stay being turned off.For communication, Claudia was great and very detailed. “It was not where it was listed but it was a good spot just had one set of bunks so one adult slept on the top. It was in the garment district near the empire state building. There was one bedroom with a double and the main part of the apartment had the other double with the bunk beds. The kitchen was good and stocked with basic dishes. The bathroom is good not but only 3 towels but the brought us a fourth one but not any wash cloths. It had a great breakfast place below that had bagels, eggs,……

“Not far from Hudson River park for pets, short distance to subway. Easy access to/from Lincoln tunnel. Much of midtown was walkable, everything that wasn’t was easy to get to from subway. Nice bathroom, legit kitchen, everything easily accessible by the guest.”

“The good: location, quiet building, well-lit unit, decent water pressure, air conditioners. The bad: extraordinarily poor value with subpar basic amenities (threadbare towels and sheets, no hand towel for bathroom, no dish towel for the kitchen, worn out and uncomfortable couch, stopped up tub/shower drain). Host communication was also very poor. Whoever manages the property never responded within a timely fashion via the VRBO app. Despite spending an extra 199 to check in at noon, instructions……
