"We stayed at The Green Man after a half day canoeing on the Wye at Symonds Yat. Great location. Check in was really easy and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was great , bed was comfy and had an iron, tea/coffee making facilities with a good range of tea/hot chocolate. Parking is aplenty and we had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent - all four of us cleaned our plates and were really happy with what we ordered. We didn’t have breakfast but can imagine it...

The staff were friendly and helpful We ate in the pub, a typical pub menu, but the food was fresh, home-cooked and excellent. Really good value for money. There are evening meals served here and also a pub next door with meals and riverside seating. 1 min walk to the ferry that can take you across the river to another pub that serves food all day. Had a great night stay here and I will be back."
