“We visited Williamsburg Lodge over the 4th of July weekend. The Lodge is upscale comfortable. We booked a Junior Suite that was spacious, nicely appointed, and came complete with a prep sink, mini fridge, and a coffee station. The grounds are gorgeous and are within easy walking distance to all things Colonial Williamsburg is known for. If you prefer, you can board the resort bus which loops the property and get off and on as many times as you like, There are many options for dining on……

However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. “There was some remodeling going on in the hotel but it didn’t bother us. Very convenient to Busch Gardens. I was surprised the back doors did not require a key card for access at night. There were a bunch of kids being very loud when we arrived but the front desk person quickly quieted them down. I wish I would have had more time to enjoy the pool.”
