Beachy themed, spacious, & Gulf ocean water views are ways to describe this 1395 sq. ft. 2 bed, 2 bath condo on beautiful Anna Maria Island at Holmes Beach 1/2 way down the Gulf Beach coastline. No high rises, only old Florida charm at its best!! Less than a minute walk out to the ocean waves & white sand, convenient quick walk to groceries & pharmacy, bike/ golf cart rental, & the popular Cheesecake Cutie breakfast/lunch cafe. No need for a car as AMI offers a free trolley, Monkey Buss, or rent a bike for a ride in either direction will take you to famous Bridge Street for fun, tiki bars, & waterfront restaurants, or head to the Anna Maria Island City Pier for fishing! There is live music at several venues most nights around the island. Seasonal local beach markets, farmer’s markets, and local theater can be enjoyed. The bright and cheery master bedroom has a king bed, a TV, direct access to the Lanai, Gulf views, & its own private bathroom. That is what you will find if you stay at Gulf Beach Place, unit 3, (it truly feels like a home). An 8 unit complex (split into 2 buildings) with heated pool in between, bbq grill area, on a quiet, less traveled part of Gulf Drive! Two Car parking in tandum in carport area under the building. This condo lends itself to quick access to the Gulf of Mexico’s ocean waters shimmering as the sky paints one of its gorgeous sunsets from its own rooftop deck only 12 steps above or stroll down to the soft sandy beach with seashell bucket in hand. Watch dolphins swim by during your morning coffee on the back Lanai or flow through a yoga routine at sunrise on the rooftop as the island awakes. Hidden Treasure

I had a great stay (again!) in AMI. Sandy Cheeks is such a nice treasure of a place to stay in. You can't beat the location - steps away from the beach and a nice quiet neighborhood. Very convenient to shops and Publix. Cooper and Heather did a wonderful job decorating and making a comfy beach house for their guests.

Roofing going on at our stay

We absolutely love this location, we have stayed 2 other yrs.That being said,the roof was being replaced it was loud at 615 am every morning, dirty, no parking under unit and finding many nails in the pool, for days,after...we hosted our parents, from NY and was embarrassed that they had to stay at a construction site...we have many pics for you.We believe we should get a refund for the first weeks rental, because of the mess, noise and inconvenience, please respond to get to a solution. Thank you

Comfy Condo Steps from Beach

The condo was steps from the beach, came very well equipped, very comfortable living room furniture. Storage area with beach chairs wagon made daily beach trip easy. Small heated pool. This area of Holmes beach is beautiful & quiet. Would defiantly stay again.

Great location! Place was spotless!

This condo was the perfect size for our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens). The place has a great beach vibe with lots of colorful ocean decor. The beds were comfortable and the master shower is huge. The washer and dryer were pristine and the kitchen has every amenity needed. The beach is a 1 minute walk from the unit and pharmacies, dining, grocery stores and souvenir shops are just a 5 minute drive away.

beautiful condo, great location

The condo is beautiful and is in the perfect location. The keyless entry was great and we enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. The condo was clean although the master bedroom was very dusty. We enjoyed having coffee on the lanai in the mornings and liked the convenience of the washer and dryer out there. The kitchen is fully equipped should you want to cook and there is plenty of room for a family to stay here comfortably for a week. Both bedrooms and both bathrooms were a nice size, not cramped at all with ample closet space. The beach locker on the ground floor was great to store our beach chairs in that we brought with us although the locker had plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and beach items from the host. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely hope to be back soon.

Great Experience!

We had a great week at this condo! We typically had the pool to ourselves because of the small amount of units within the two buildings, which my 5 year old loved! The view was great. The rooftop was super cool - which is where we watched the July 4th fireworks from! The unit was clean and homey! We appreciated the closet on the ground floor full of beach stuff - chairs, wagon, toys, etc as well as the closeness of the unit to the beach - literally just steps! It was easy enough to run back if you forgot something! We would definitely come back!

Well situated Beach condo

The condo was perfect for our family of 4. Very close access to the beach and ocean views made the week enjoyable. The condo itself is well appointed with everything you may need for a family. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space but still quaint enough we were forced to spend time together as a family. (Anyone with teenagers will know what I mean.) It is a third story walk up, so anyone mobility issues would have a problem with access.

Great unit right on the beach with access to a nice/quiet pool. Condo was clean and equipped with everything listed on the site. When we needed to contact the owner (looking for the locker key or updated code to get in) it was very easy.

Conveniently located on a beautiful beach and by stores/cafes

This condo is nicely situated on a less busy part of Gulf Drive and within walking distance of the grocery store, ACE hardware store, Dollar Store, and cafes. We loved the proximity to the beautiful beach, and the beach closet with wagon, chairs, and beach umbrella. The condo also offered beach towels and a fully stocked kitchen. The king bed in the master bedroom was comfortable, and the master bedroom was well-lighted with shades that could be pulled up or down and with access to the lanai. The second bedroom also had a lanai that was flooded with the morning sun. Perfect for enjoying one's morning coffee and a book. Less accessible in the second bedroom were the plugs for cell phones and other electronic gadgets. The property manager was super responsive to our needs. The view of the Gulf was nice, but somewhat obstructed by heavy wires that crisscross it and metal window frames that tend to interrupt the view. This was somewhat compensated by the pair of mourning doves that sat and courted on the wires. The smart TV was oh so slow when you wanted to move from network or cable TV to apps like Amazon Prime or Netflix, but one's patience would finally be rewarded. And, lastly, although the City of Holmes Beach has Recycling pick-up on Tuesdays, there is no recycling at this condo complex. Since recycling is important to me, with permission, I deposited my recycling in the neighbor's bin across 34th Street. Overall, I highly recommend this property on lovely Anna Maria Island.

Best Location in Holmes Beach

Beautiful, clean unit in the best area of Holmes Beach. Close to the beach and the shopping center and grocery. Unit is perfect for families and even had a high chair to use. Nice dining table that seats six and plenty of seating to watch movies in the evening. Would return without hesitation. Decorated with great artwork from local artists.

The condo was average. Needs work. Master shower door missing( had one door and a curtain over missing), ceiling in dining room buckled, chair in kitchen cushion taped together, entry door filthy on inside. The bedrooms were very nice and master bed very comfortable. It appeared this property just received a facelift but needs structural work and many updates. The storage area was nice and we appreciated the use of beach chairs and wagon. Pool area and pool were not cleaned much. Out door areas could use attention. Sorry for the disappointing review. We have stayed at many VRBO properties and have always been very pleased except this time

We loved our stay! Very well stocked condo from kitchen to beach accessories! Loved having everything there and wagons to transport it to the beach! Close to Walgreens, Dollar Store and Publix for anything you may need along with souvenir stores and a couple great restaurants. We even walked the beach down to Manatee Beach to grab food and brought back for a picnic on the beach to watch the sunset! Great location if you're looking for a less crowded area! Hope to be back soon!

January Getaway

The condo was great and met all our expectations. Short walk to the beach and coinvent to grocery store. Beds were excellent and comfortable. Couple of doors are sticking but it was just a minor inconvenience. Overall a great place to stay !
