Great location - Cozy Condo steps away from the beach!

Well kept building, and the property manager was super friendly and helped us quickly when the safe in our rental wouldn’t unlock.

Anniversary Trip

Great stay! Arrived later than expected (a bit after midnight) property manager was still there to greet us and was very helpful getting us all situated! Location is epic, no need to rent a car unless you want to travel around, otherwise everything from great art and good food is within walking distance! See you all again!

Waikiki Shores Experience

This property is in the perfect location! Beach, bars and shops all within a few minutes walk. Being able to step out directly to Waikiki Beach was great! Condo was clean , equipped and perfect for extended stay. I will come back to this location!!

Very nice place

Very clean and comfortable with side view of ocean, steps from the sand and conveniently located within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Perfectly fit my needs for this trip.

Perfect Place in Waikiki!!

10 out of 10 - great place to stay

My wife and I stayed here for a week in May of 2024. It was perfect. The host Paul was extremely helpful and friendly. Check-in was easy, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the location was perfect. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony with a view of the ocean and swaying palm trees. We really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella that were in the closet. The shower was great and the bidet was a nice touch. The building is close to the ABC stores along with several shave ice places and many restaurants along Waikiki. We will stay here again!

Beautifully renovated beachfront condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything corner of this beautifully renovated condo has been thoughtfully considered. The unit was cozy and fully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom area was large with plenty of storage. The washer/dryer was very much appreciated and came in handy. Our only negatives would be that the bed was a little smaller than what we’re used to, and the walls were quite thin so the noise was sometimes a problem. Especially from our neighbor who blared his tv late at night and kept us up. But I would definitely recommend this unit and stay again on our next visit.

Would stay again

The condo was generally nice and we would stay there again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is well-maintained and seems to have upgrades done when needed. Walking distance to just about everything you need. Pros: location, parking close by; clean (except for tiny ants), good internet speed; well stocked kitchen and bathroom; good water pressure; comfortable bed; plenty of outlets and USB ports. Cons: check-in process more complicated than it has to be; tiny ants on floor and counter from day one; internet user and password on the modem high up on a shelf - why not have it written down on a paper?; toaster did not work; smoke alarm too sensitive - goes off for no real reason; no hot water one night; "intermittent" noise from landscaping was constant from 7:00am running all day (trimming trees & shrubs, shredding branches); partial ocean view obstructed by trees until the final day. I realize there's nothing the owner can do about the last 2 items, but an adjustment in the listing description might provide a little more accuracy.

Very tiny condo in a great venue

Reviewer Comments: Due to the fact that we were renting during part of memorial day week, the area that this condo is located in was extremely congested, and there was quite a lot of noise until about 2 am. The condo was cute, and it had everything necessary to a happy vacation. It was very clean. Because it was so small, the kitchen was a little challenging to navigate. The oven and burners are very small, and the countertop is extremely limited, so cooking is not easy. we very much liked the location, and although the beach beside the condo was very shallow, it was a beautiful place to be situated. Be prepared for lots of traffic in this area of Waikiki. The only issue I had was that the Property Manager was not responsive when I asked for an hour later checkout. He said he would get back to me and he never did. That made me feel that I was not important.

Cute, Clean, Convenient

This was the perfect spot after long days of getting my daughter situated at college. It had everything we needed, was super cute and clean, and the location is perfect - quiet and next to the beach, yet next to everything you could need. I will definitely be coming back!

LOCATION

This condo is hands down the best location. Everything is in walking distance so really you don’t need a car. Bikes and e-scooters are easy to come by. You are just right before the crazy busy part of Waikiki which I love because you get the best of both. This is our 2nd time in this building will definitely be back we love Oahu!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked this unit as we have stayed in the Waikiki Shore several times in different units with different companies and private people. I would highly recommend Captain Cook as it was seamless from the time we booked to the time we departed. The condo 414 was pleasant place with brand new renovations, it was well stocked with brand name appliances and cookware . The only thing we had trouble with was the television as it was very slow to load a channel but it was ok because we never went to Hawaii to watch tv! The condo is very clean and bright, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is the best in Waikiki as it’s away from the street noise and with Fort DeRussy park next door always gives you a relaxing vibe as you sit on the lanai ! I would definitely stay there again!
