Nice colonial hotel experience

Hardware: the hotel is classic as a colonial style, good condition and spacious. Software: reception and the welcome manager are nice and friendly. They gave us a lot of local visit advices and logistic suggestion, even though we didn’t choose to use their service. It is convenience to take taxi (US$1) to the centre for dinning, by walk is 30 mins.

The purpose of our trip to Vietnam this time was to stay at this hotel, which we had long wanted to experience. It took us about three hours from Hoi An, but it was truly worth it. The hotel is magnificent, beautifully renovated from an old building, and its solid, luxurious presence is something that could hardly be built today. The room we stayed in was spacious and located at the center of the property, offering stunning views that allowed us to overlook the entire building. The scenery from our room was simply breathtaking. As a special highlight of our stay, we reserved the Royal Court Cuisine dinner at the hotel restaurant. We dressed in royal costumes and enjoyed a unique dining experience at a beautifully prepared setting. Each dish was crafted with great care, and not only the flavors but also the presentation and atmosphere allowed us to fully enjoy the meal with all five senses. It was one of the most fascinating and memorable experiences we have ever had. The staff member who served us during dinner was exceptionally kind. They eased our nervousness, encouraging us to fully embrace the roles of “king and princess,” which made the evening even more enjoyable. They also explained the dishes in detail and kindly shared recommendations of places to visit in Hue, which we truly appreciated. We were also able to relax at the hotel and enjoyed a pleasant evening stroll along the nearby river, which was a delightful experience. Although the hotel is a little distant from

The staff were absolutely exceptional—warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. They even went above and beyond to air ship a piece of clothing I had forgotten after check-out, which speaks volumes about their commitment to guest care. The pool and facilities were flawless, and the location is perfect—peaceful yet just minutes from Hue’s top attractions. I have stayed in many international hotels over several decades. The staff here were outstanding and completely focussed on their residents. Nothing was too much trouble. Our stay at Azerai in Huế was exceptional. The building is absolutely stunning – elegant, full of character, and beautifully preserved. The staff were warm and professional, and the facilities were excellent throughout. A special mention goes to Oanh, the barman, who was not only skilled but also incredibly entertaining – he added a lot of fun to our evenings. Every part of the hotel felt thoughtfully designed to offer a relaxing and memorable experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Huế in comfort and style.

Hotel is superb with dedicated staff. No recognition of VIP status at check-in or that I had been before. No upgrade from Superior, advised no availability despite Deluxe rooms being on sale throughout our 4 night stay.

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful building, exquisite deco design, wonderful restaurant, exquisite rooms, terrific large pool. Everything about this place is magnificent. It justifies a visit to Hue on its own — but the tombs and imperial city are wonderful attractions too.
