"I booked an accessible double with hotel 1 month in advance and there was not one available but we were given a twin we were given complimentary drinks and then charged for them and our price included breakfast and they tried to charge for them all these items were sorted by the staff as well as they could"

"When making the reservation, it stated "breakfast included" however, it did not appear on my itinerary. I contacted Expedia who were unable to resolve the matter. It took over 24 hours to get the remote control for the TV. Most of the employees were very helpful, there was one worker who seemed uninterested and came across as being rude. Beyond that encounter, the room was very well presented. The "bespoke" iron furniture was lovely and sturdy."

"It started very badly with Satnav sending us to a pedestrianised deadend at the waterfront. However with telephone assistance from the Ark staff we eventually found the entrance which is set back from the road. We stayed in a tiny double bed studio, probably the smallest we have ever seen. It was however perfect for our stay and was very well fitted out and spotless. The pool and spa was stunning and with incredible views from the 20th floor to the O2. Staff qere helpful, lifts a high tech joy and all in all extremely good value. Access to all areas via the adjacent light railway station was a huge benefit for getting around. We would stay again and now we know where the entrance is it will be even better!"
