“Beautiful home in a quiet residential neighborhood. Very easy access to train and bus stations. Easy for Uber and taxis to find. Can walk to grocery stores and restaurants. About 20 minutes by train to most major Tokyo attractions. Tanuki is a great host. Checks to see you are OK via text. The home has all conveniences that are simple to use. “This property was perfect for my family's whirlwind tour of Tokyo.It is in a very residential neighborhood with lots of single-family houses. It is a very quite a relaxing area that is wonderful to return to after a busy day visiting the crowded areas of Tokyo. It is a short walk to a number of train stations and has small grocery shops just steps away. It's at the end of a charming 'shopping street' called 'Shimofuri' that has lots of cute shops. “My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend it if you are traveling with a large group that wants to stay in separate rooms. Please keep in mind that most of the bedrooms are on the top floor and the stairs may be too steep for older people/young kids.”

The host was kind enough to work with us on the checkout times due to come complicated travel issues with our flight and cruise.The home was clean and in a good neighborhood. We were in walking distance of the Ikebukuro entertainment district and the subway station.
