This was our first trip to Tahoe and I am so pleased that we chose this home in Incline Village. It’s cozy, clean, comfortable and quiet. We were nestled in the woods and close to hiking, adventuring and beaches. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer!
This house was perfect for my family for the long weekend! We had plenty of space for hanging out and enjoyed the many games available at the house. We cooked several meals in the extremely well-stocked kitchen. I would say it’s the most-stocked of any home I have previously rented. The house was very clean and the working wood-burning stove was perfect. As noted by someone else, the couch is now an L-shape which is much better for relaxing together as a family of 4. The toilet was not working properly in the downstairs bathroom when we arrived, but I was impressed at how quickly someone came out to take a look and repair the issue. The person was friendly and attentive. It’s in a great area of incline- just a few minutes away from shops/restaurants. And it was off a main-ish road which meant the snow plows came through before we were even out of bed. The property manager also came through and cleared the snow from behind the car and on the pathway early in the am, which was really fantastic. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Customer service brings this property down
We reserved this home for two months. The property is generally in good shape and outfitted well, and was fairly clean except for the many dead moths on the carpet (we bought some traps, and the problem got solved). We had numerous problems with the property manager not responding or ignoring our concerns in our first week. The water pressure was practically non-existent, and after two weeks of failed promises to "send someone from their team" to fix it, we went and bought a wrench and removed the gunk from inside both shower heads and the kitchen faucet ourselves. This improved the pressure to acceptable levels. There was also a major problem with the microwave not working...and making odd noises. We tried repeatedly to get them to schedule someone to come look at it WHEN WE WERE HOME only, but they ignored that request and one day we came home and they had a new microwave just sitting on the counter. If you are self-sufficient, this property may be for you, but if anything goes wrong, don't count on good communciation or prompt response.
Such a cozy amazing place to stay. Close to everything, nice walks in the neighborhood, and the beds were the comfiest ever. Everything you need is here. Thank you so much for the perfect stay!
Great spot, easy to navigate to and from. Had everything necessary for the stay plus more! Had zero issues during stay. Only part i didn't love, Incline beach was listed in the listing as a nearby beach, but its all privatized. Maybe if you list it provide a usage ticket for the beach? Kings beach and sand harbor are pretty close though, but definitely nothing walking distance.
We had an amazing time here and in a incline Village in general. Fantastic cabin in a great location. Nice decor. Well stocked kitchen. Comfy sleeping arrangements. We would definitely stay here again!
It was clean, and it has everything you need for an amazing days at the lake . My little one loves the unicorn sleeping bag.!! The grill needs a little cleaning do and the deck was a dirty other than that it was perfect I definitely stay again.!! And location is just amazing close to everything. Love it and I recommend this beautiful house 🏠 we enjoyed our entire time there.!!
Great place to stay for your family vacation. Everything was good about this place except that there was no bear box provided and we have to place the garbage in the kitchen itself for our entire stay. Other than that this is good place for your stay. Also it had everything needed for you to celebrate thanksgiving at home.
Very well-laid-out cabin. Everything you will need. Comfortable. We were there during “Fire Season,” mid-September. Not owner’s fault, of course, but not having even a bedroom AC was rough when you can’t open the windows. Unfortunately, this is now the norm for late summer into Fall. The owner might need to add some AC. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if that were available.

Cabin was nice, VRBO service is horrible
The cabin itself was nice. As for the rest of our experience with VRBO it was terrible. When we arrived the only cabin access/path was blocked by a 7ft tall bank of snow and ice that had slid off the roof of the 2 cabins in front of our rental. I called VRBO directly and they told me they could'nt help with the issue, and passed me off to the local host. The local host did not answer my phone calls or text messages for over 60 minutes, meanwhile my family was standing out in the 21 degree cold looking for a way in. Local host told me he knew of issue from earlier in the day but he had not addressed it. He assured me he would get someone to take care of the snow and he would even come out himself to get a pathway cleared so we could bring in our luggage and groceries. After another 60min wait with no contact from host we instead had to lug all our gear including our children up and over the 7ft bank of snow to get out of the cold. Once I got my family inside and situated the host called me back to let me know they could move us into another cabin that is not as nice but we would have to drive to another location 20 minutes away. When I told him we had already carried our luggage in he assured me again someone would come clear a path that evening even if he had to do it himself. Nobody ever showed. Next day I called and text local host and he never answered. I also called VRBO directly again and they told me they cant help. Path was never cleared. Major safety issue.
My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend to explore Tahoe for the first time - it was absolutely amazing! The place was so clean, easy to find, and in the perfect location. It’s quiet and tucked away in the woods, but a short drive from numerous places to eat. I would recommend this place to anyone!
The house is nice - the kitchen is well stocked - everything you would need for cooking and reasonably high end things - like a good, sharp chef’s knife, and a coffee frother. There were standard spices and oil/condiments left from other guests that filled some gaps in what we brought - I wouldn’t count on them to have everything, but it was a great backup. The beds were comfortable, including the pull out sofa which has a memory foam mattress that the person who slept on it said was comfy. The insulation between the bedroom with the king bed (not the master as it’s not the one with the en-suite bath) and the bedroom above it is not good - my kids were sleeping upstairs and they like to wake early and play video games with their friends and you could clearly hear the conversation coming in through the floor, but we didn’t hear any outdoor or traffic noise. The tv has an Apple TV and was easy to hook up to stream.
I took off one star because it’s got a checkin/checkout time of 4pm to 10am, which is pretty ungenerous, even in covid times other places I’ve stayed have been 10-3, and had some flexibility. We got there at 3:20pm and the place was clearly ready and standing empty, and my 8yo really needed the bathroom, but we were told by the call center that the lock code would only start working at 4pm. I’m not even sure it was true because when we did finally get in, the code we had been sent was wrong, and we had to wait again on the phone (not long, fortunately) while that was cleared up. I had also requested late checkout well before the 24 hour notice they ask for but never heard back from “the on-site team” about that - but to be fair we only got out at 11am (though it felt like 10am since it was daylight savings day) and we weren’t chased out.
You also have to take your garbage out when you leave, which is fairly standard for Vrbo, but the bins are quite a distance from the property.
The location was good - we were there with little kids and wanted to go sledding. The big sledding places are more in south Tahoe, but we headed to “Sledding Hill” in North Tahoe Regional Park. The big hill was empty of snow this late in the season but we walked in past the zip line course and found, near hole 12 of the frisbee golf course, a wonderful hill that we had almost to ourselves for both days we were there. Totally recommend it especially if you have inflatable tube sleds - it’s just a 15 minute drive from the property.
The property was clean and was cozy for our family of 4. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the snow right behind the home and its really close to skiing and the village. We will definitely consider this home for our future trips.
The only thing I would caution others has nothing to do with the home itself but the parking situation during winter wherein the parking areas can get frozen over so having a 4wd or awd vehicle would give you peace of mind.
Loved all that this cabin included. Those extra touches made all the difference from supplied coffee to a fully equipped kitchen, Netflix, and games for the kids. Being surrounded by nature and so close to beaches, restaurants and stores made this a place we want to come back to.
The property was great and looked as depicted. It was clean and felt safe. Really charming. Decor was perfect for the location. There was some road noise, but sleeping with a fan masked the noise. Well-stocked, including a full spice rack! The downstairs bedroom could use a luggage rack or two. Our stay was wonderful and I would definitely stay here again!
Super tidy and well equipped cabin in a great location for all mountain activities. We love to cook and the kitchen is well outfitted. Highly recommend. Enjoy your stay!
We stayed here for 2 days to do some spring skiing/ snowboarding at Diamond Peak. It was a perfect stay. Very close to Diamond Peak. Very clean & convenient.
