“There was a very damp and musty smell in the hall and bathroom. The vegetation surrounding the cabin was overgrown so the outside felt oppressive rather than having a clear view of the Loch as per the advertisement. The wall glazing needs cleaning. The owner kindly supplies a huge amount of logs stored outside. Half of them disappeared during our stay which made us feel insecure as we felt it may be a local resident. “We had a wonderful stay at Ardmay Chalet. It was comfortable and cozy, and the view of the loch was spectacular. It was rainy most of the week, so we didn't get to try out the kayaks or SUPs. Douglas was a fantastic host! He was super friendly and was very responsive to our requests. ”

“The setting could not be bettered for a quiet and beautiful getaway. The kitchen is well equipped. The log supply was very generous as due to the weather we used on a few evenings. A few things require attention. An unseen Split in a Perspex dining chair caused an injury while in use. We left a note so that this could be picked up quickly.
