“A wonderful hotel with beautiful environment, spacious room, confortable simming pool and best restaurant.”

“We had a pleasant stay at the Harbour Hotel. The room was a good size, clean and had plenty of power sockets, which was very convenient. The shower was excellent, with strong water pressure. The bathroom, however, felt quite dated. The sink was very small, making it difficult to fill the kettle directly from the tap, and there was no side lamp in the room. We also found that water came out of the shower tray despite the shower having an enclosure. Breakfast was good, with a good selection of……

“Good”

“We stayed at this property for a week the main person in charge Alex he was so helpful always on hand if we needed anything there was an incident which was resolved instantly it was a well looked after and more then worth the cost to stay the room was clean and tidy fresh bedding and towels any time we needed the property was well maintained and cleaned every day I will be staying here every time I visit Scotland and will be visiting again very soon with family and friends it truly was a……

“Very comfortable and spacious room and nice to see the addition of a coffee table, but difficult to find a socket for the kettle which was under the TV on a low shelf. (a really daft place to boil a kettle). It needs a little golden tea trolley to get to a socket on the other side of the room. The internet TV kept freezing, looks like a poor wifi signal. We didn't expect too much from the food, which was bland and forgettable and the buffet breakfast was not much better.”

“Difficult to park here, also a great pity that the owners who take people hard warned money don’t want to meet & greet their guests. The basics in guest care missing here. ”

“The host was attentive, but the place was under renovation, and he didn’t tell us ahead of time. There were holes in the walls, the shelves were dirty and the whole air was dingy. We had to ask for a kettle and pots and pans. There was no sponge or fairy liquid or sponge to clean the plates. The cooker didn’t work; we had to wait until the night (11 pm) for it to work. It was not as advertised.”

“Nice hotel for a few nights, breakfast and dinner handy in the restaurant. The decor is starting to show its age, was told a make over is planned.”

“Uncared for”

“Great little place with a superb view over the Clyde. As the owner states it's on a third floor with stairs only so not for everyone. Very nice for two, kitchen and nice living room. Would use again.”

“Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Gourock. Michael, der Besitzer war sehr unkompliziert und immer erreichbar. Die Aussicht auf den See war wirklich toll. Für nur 22 Pfund kommt man mit der ganzen Familie mit dem Zug nach Glasgow. Selbst bei einem eigenverschuldeten Schaden war Michael sehr verständnisvoll und zuvorkommend.”

“Lochview Lodges offered a wonderful stay with its well-appointed lodges and breathtaking views of the loch and surrounding countryside. The peaceful setting, complete with friendly goat, cow, and sheep neighbours, was truly relaxing. While the lodge itself was beautifully constructed and equipped, I was a bit disappointed to find the oven and washing machine needed cleaning before use. Additionally, I was surprised to discover that toilet paper wasn't provided, even for a self-catering……

“オーナーはフレンドリーで親切だったが、施設そのものは古く、清掃の不備や食べ残しがあったり。ちょっと不潔に感じた。”

“We stayed at the Wee Cottage by the Ferry for 4 nights in early Sep. It was a great place to stay. Exactly as advertised, extremely clean, comfortable bed, nice shower, great location and had everything we needed for our stay. Kevin was very easy to deal with and responded promptly to messages. He even left us the basic necessities and more in the fridge and pantry. We’ll definitely stay here again when we are back in Gourock.”

“Smooth check in and check out. Flat was very clean and it was lovely to arrive to find a few treats and toiletries available! Please be advised that the flat is on the 3rd floor and is not ADA accessible. Also there is a man who lives below who is not very tolerable of noise- he showed up angry at our door with no trousers on! Overall a lovely stay and we plan to come again next time we are in town.”
