“It was not clear to us which of several properties shown in the listing we were actually getting. We did not know which unit was ours until we arrived and called for clarification.”

“We hope they can add an electric water kettle because we don't drink coffee.”

“The room was fine/clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok but not great in my opinion; a basic continental breakfast. Wasn't happy with the service for dinner Sep 29/26 in the restaurant. Had to wait 25 minutes before anyone came with water and apologized because they were supposedly short staffed. Once they finally took our order our meals came in a reasonable time but by then that had already set the tone for the meal. Had to go to the waitress to ask for the bill. Wouldn't……

“Clean room, great staff”

“Perfect.”

“These cabins are in the most amazing location overlooking the coast down to a beach. The hosts were very friendly on arrival. The cabin was comfortable and well equipped to self cater in. We stayed 2 nights as a base for driving the Cabot trail which worked well. Laundry facilities on site were great.”

“This is a fabulous place to stay at the start or end of your cape breton adventure! The cabins had everything you could need - the king bed and couch were really comfortable! the owner and Rose (housekeeping) couldn't have been kinder. thank you!”

“Helpful staff were nice to deal with. It's motel next to a hiway but the room was clean and for the most part quiet. Could it use some maintenance? Likely, but it seems like they are trying.”

“Very friendly owners, clean lovely bed and bath.Amazing full breakfast.Highly recommend.”

“Very clean. They had room to make the shower bigger, so that would have been nice, but not a deal breaker. Great view, beautiful property. Invested hosts. Sheer curtains or windows cling to allow light in whike maintaining privacy, would be nice. Ice machines. Though the host provided ice which was great . Would recommend”

“Great, safe, and quiet campground. The self-check-in and check-out process was very convenient, with no need to meet any staff members, who could be reached by the provided phone number. Inside the trailer, everything was very clean and well maintained.”

“It was an upgrade for camping. The nice thing about the accommodation was that there were flush toilets and showers as well as a fully functional kitchen in the communal building. The outdoor lighting wasn’t very bright so a good bright flashlight is a must. It will help you to locate the assigned pod. Don’t bring large or a lot of luggage. There isn’t a lot of space left next to the queen-sized foam bed. Having indoor shoes is a good idea as the floor is not finished. The plug-in electric……

“This stay was outside of my comfort zone as someone who doesn’t camp. The RV was fine for the most part, but a little tired and the toilet and the blinds were not the cleanest. The power was out for a few hours which can’t be controlled, but Shannon assured me he would hook up a generator if it remained out. It did come back on in the evening thankfully. I was told I was the only guest staying in an RV until the weekend so it was just Shannon the owner’s family, and I. Half of my shower was……

“Beautiful, new, clean, comfortable beds & linens, microwave, fridge. Keurig coffee maker with fresh milk/cream in the fridge, which was a lovely touch, as I hate coffee creamers. Laundry available after 5pm, which again is a nice perk when traveling for an extended time.”

“although the pod was small, it was comfortable. Although the kitchen was shared it was well equipped and not busy. Being a bit older not having an attached washroom was not great.”
