"Breakfast was very good with lots of choice . Room was fine but TV quite big for the size of the room. Shower very small. Lovely decor and bar staff and waitress very helpful. Nice being able to use the sauna. Pool and hot tub not yet in use "

"Parking is on an if your lucky basis, when we arrived we were told the swimming pool was closed until summer, this was not mentioned when booking on Hotels.com platform this was the very reason we booked therefore mis selling We were also told no chef this evening so no food, the entertainment offered was outside in the garden stage which means you have to listen to it even if you don’t want to Thursday was Jules Nelson who wasn’t too bad but on Saturday it was an act that had Cyrus in his name his sets were so loud and his tracks full of bass dreadful noise unfortunately, even when we shut the balcony door and window it could still be heard, a pointer to the fact that Ocean View Hotel is very old and tired and in desperate need for updating, we will be looking at some kind of refund for not being told about the fact that certain amenities like swimming were not available overall disappointing to say the least we travel to the island on business every week however we will not be booking into this hotel again "

"Logistically superb - lots of walks, beach, at low tide you can go rock pooling etc. Bus stop right outside - which when the weather isn't great is a useful option to get around. There are small bus routes that loop certain areas - and you get a running commentary so worth jumping on. Hotel is fabulous - views are amazing, food is delicious, and good value, room were exceptional (you must like the sound of the sea) and the staff are kind, informative and go above and beyond. "

"Small arcade, lake, clubhouse, indoor and outdoor pools, and playground on site. Check on their website for details about when certain facilities open - we’ve been a number of times and there’s a much wider variety in the Summer. But still enjoyable throughout the year. "
