No vehicle access to the door but this means great street and restaurants/bars straight out the door. Very safe area. Hotel is small but cosy and staff friendly.

It’s located in the middle of the small and medium size restaurants with excellent food variety. It’s very good location for late night stayers and live music lovers, and the area also offers many historical sites to visit such as beautiful mosques, cultural centres and entertainment locations.

Highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff, very clean rooms with good aircon. The street is a busy one with late night music but the rooms are very well sound proofed so this did not disturb us at all. Loads of food & drinks options within seconds walking distance, from high end to street snacks. Galata Tower is a 10 minute (uphill) walk away. Plenty of transport options at the nearby pier, be those ferry, tram or bus. Would stay again next time I’m in Istanbul.

Ruined our holiday

The room was spacious but air conditioners weren’t working so we were basically roasted for 3 consecutive nights. Breakfast wasn’t edible. The staff was friendly but was neither professional nor helpful as no one seemed to be bothered about our complaints! The toilet was very old fashioned and not suitable for family with children. We stayed in three different hotels throughout our stay in Turkey and this was the worst! Wouldn’t go back to it.

Great location! A lot of dining options around. A bit noisy at weekend nights. We had a good family room, but there was no cot that we requested 2 times via Expedia customer support. Not sure whose fault it was.

Noisy surrounding

There is no way to get rest in this hotel because of the bars and restaurants nearby. The windows are old and don’t block at all the the noise. The bars and restaurants are open until 3-4 am and they are very loud. My disappointment is mainly because of there was no mention of this at the booking page. When I complained, the receptionist said it wasn’t their fault.

overall the hotel was nice and charming and the staff were friendly and helpful. only real issue was the room i booked indicated it would have a city view and i requested a high floor. i was only on floor 2 and the room faced and overlooked a very scary alleyway. there was a door in the bathroom that led to a small balcony that was filled with junk and the door had a very flimsy lock that made me feel quite unsafe. the hotel was unable to move me to another room

Er waren slechts 2 handdoeken terwijl we met 4 personen daar verbleven. Tevens slechts 1 donsdeken terwijl we 2 bedden hadden. Bij navraag bleken er geen extra donsdekens aanwezig. Hoe kan dit??? Op een bed mag toch minstens een (dons)deken liggen? In de badkamer en douche was veel schimmel aanwezig. Zelfs na het poetsen was er overal stof in de kamer. Het ontbijt was zeer miniem, zeker geen aanrader.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, jedoch kann man abends nicht schlafen wegen der Lautstärke. Zu Fuß ist alles erreichbar. Leider ist das Hotel nicht ganz so sauber, insbesondere das Bad. Und Roomservice war auch mangelhaft Toilettenpapier hat immer gefehlt. Personal war sehr nett. Nächstes Mal würde ich mich für ein anderes Hotel entscheiden.
