"Very relaxed stay. Short walk from station or book a taxi for a small fee if you have luggage. Ruriko-in temple and Mt Hiei cable car station is very close with lots of hiking and walking trails. Dinner was very nice and staff were super friendly. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Mr Koichi and all staff for making our stay an enjoyable one."

"The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that. House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead."

"Lovely 100-year old house repurposed as guest house. Modern additions such as air con and shower room added around original building with wooden sliding doors and futon beds. Lovely, helpful owners met us and showed us everything - thank you!"

"My kids are 2 years old and 4 years old - absolutely loved the cupcake theme. This actual building is about 15 min away from the check-in spot and they give you plenty of reminder e-mails to ensure you know what to expect. Getting to the home was easy, and there were plenty of parking lots ard the corner (1000Yen for the day max, 300Yen max overnight). "We enjoyed our stay at Rinn Shiki Juraku. The rooms were clean and very beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The staff was friendly and accommodating, particularly Riku who helped us fix a malfunctioning AC unit in our room. Overall it was an incredibly lovely experience and we would definitely come back."
