Weekend by the waterfalls
Onsen with a great view. The outdoor onsen was my favorite. It was a perfect temperature and the environment was relaxing. I was solo traveling so I didn't use the ping pong or karaoke room, but I will definitely bring friends next time. I stayed in a traditional tatami style room and was pleased with the layout. I will say there's not much to eat in the immediate area, so definitely include the breakfast and dinner in your stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
I had booked this hotel thinking it was standard, but it was Japanese style: tatami floor, floor mattress, and no private bathroom (shower). The room did have a toilet, sink, closets, tv, electrical kettle, etc… yet despite not having my own shower was not a big deal. They offer bathhouse: very clean, spacious, with multiple pools (hot water) cold tub, sauna and even an outdoors onsen! Overlooking the river! Fall asleep sleep to a running river, and waking up to it was so soothing. The staff was friendly and helpful, overall i had a fantastic stay and would book again.
The staff was absolutely wonderful. We would like to thank Thapa Pratap and Yubarat for being so accommodating and patient with us. This was our first onsen and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved being on the countryside of Japan.

Cool spot in the middle of izu!
Nice secluded spot next to a river. You kinda need a car, though they do offer shuttle service from I don’t know where. I think it’s good for families since they have a game room with ping pong and karaoke and pet friendly. I had a Japanese room which overlooked the river! The futons were wayyyy too thin and my back paid for it. There nothing around it so opt for the meal plans. Dinners were okay mainly Japanese style. The breaky is early but the checkout at 11 makes up for it. Main problem is that the inside looks a bit shabby in places and it’s a shame they don’t fix the holes in the roof and such. Overall good value.
Room condition needed remodeling: rips in the walls, patches, paper doors held together with actual tape. While WiFi was free and connectable, my room at the end of the hotel could not maintain WiFi for more than a few seconds, rendering it useless for any functional purpose. Not adding meals on as an Expedia option, the hotel wanted to charge you multiple times more for the same meals. Extra fee assessed at hotel for usage of hot spring, yet having a tattoo, I couldn’t use it. Problems, problems, problems, aside from the anti-constitution, antiquated tattoo policy. The whole hotel is from the past.

The place was old and not very clean. The sink handle was broken and full of mold. The staff were friendly.
The facility was older than the photo.
Raw eggs were rotten.
I reported it, but there was no apology.
Because of this, I can't eat raw eggs from now on.
写真よりも施設は古く感じました。
ビュッフェで提供された生卵が腐っていて、スタッフに報告しましたが満足のいく謝罪はありませんでした。その生卵の異臭や見た目がトラウマで今後生卵が食べられそうにあ りません。
