"Wonderful Onsen Hotel with private Onsen on the balcony overlooking the beautiful bay. Toi is small and there are not may restaurant options but it is a great location to take the ferry with views on Fuji-san. The hotel has excellent service, the rooms are spacious and when we arrived there was a little welcome drink and sweets. Such a nice touch. Overall great value for money"

"Nice secluded spot next to a river. You kinda need a car, though they do offer shuttle service from I don’t know where. I think it’s good for families since they have a game room with ping pong and karaoke and pet friendly. I had a Japanese room which overlooked the river! The futons were wayyyy too thin and my back paid for it. There nothing around it so opt for the meal plans. Dinners were okay mainly Japanese style. "What a decadent experience in low-key, authentic Japanese style. Not a detail was spared in the gorgeous historic building and lush forest grounds. The several course meals were outstanding, served in our private dining room and the staff was beyond helpful and gracious. "The food options were just ok for buffet and very over priced. The private onsen was lovely. Unfortunately the kids pool was very loud in the evening so it made it hard to enjoy. Also was suprised that there really was no view of Mount Fuji which had been advertised. "

"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice.
