“Loved the property... wifi didn't work and the air conditioner in room 224 leaked water pretty bad .. but the beds were comfortable, loved the balcony view of the pool & ocean and Lemon Bar .. wish there was an elevator .. but overall it was a great experience.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is 100 years old. So if you want a cookie cutter big Chain experience, this probably isn’t for you. The hotel has wooden floors, and you walk out the back door literally onto the beach. Mary, the staff member on duty when I checked in was incredibly friendly. If there’s a wedding going on during the weekend, it will be noisy because the building is small and old. But it’s unbelievably charming. I stayed in two hotels while I was in Jacksonville. “The location of this property is great. It's right by the river. We were using the time here as an escape/relax time and we're successful. I want to say the pool was great but I can't give my opinion as the weather wasn't cooperative. However, my daughter, who has no cares about outside temps or wind or cloud cover, thought it was GREAT. There were plenty of towels. The house was immaculate. 10/10, would definitely look for this location again if traveling to the area. ”
