Spartan race getaway

Family visit

I came to Jacksonville to visit my sister, nieces and nephews. This home was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. I reached out to Andrew and Melody a couple of times and they were prompt with their replies and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Could be nice place to stay

The accommodations could be a fun and enjoyable place to stay, as it has an open floor plan type set up from kitchen to eating area to living room. Large kitchen/rather high end appliances for that type of rental. There’s a large table suitable for playing games or just eating-socializing. Nice size living room with 2 reclining chairs & sectional sofa, & large TV. Bedrooms decent size. Nice pool outdoors. When we first arrived, I initially thought “wow, this would be a great place to come back to in the summer”. I quickly changed my mind after realizing THERE IS A MAJOR ISSUE WITH COOLING THE RENTAL. We stayed Jan 31-Feb3, temp outside was only ever up to high of 70 during that time. However inside temp ranged from 76 to mostly 74 most of our stay (only reached down to 70 one brief period of time for a few hours), despite us setting air conditioner to cool at 68. We were party of 4 adults. Kept windows, fans blowing entire stay. Oven not used. When notified host about such, delayed responding for a day, then just asked a question I had already given answer to in original message about the problem. Did not try even try to assist us with the problem. Nor did he offer to compensate us for inconvenience of being hot entire stay. We also had an issue getting connected to WiFi. After many attempts to get password from host in a way we could see it, finally got connected end of second day. No compensation given to us for inconveniences during our stay. Very disappointed!
