The building is quirky and has so much going for it… probably several £££ million to bring it up to 4* standards, but the staff were super friendly and the room we were assigned was brilliant and had lovely views over the port. Also accommodated for our dog which was really appreciated. The restaurant served a great dinner too and the Scottish breakfast gave us a cracking start on our onward journey. Thank you !"

Hosts were available if needed but did not intrude. Only suggestion would be to swop out tv for a freely Internet TV as Internet very good on the premises and existing TV not good for reliableconsistent reception got no signal quite often in the evenings."

We had a horrible experience previously in Edinburgh so we were a bit concerned and we were more than happy and grateful for the wonderful place Heather and her family have provided. We felt valued as guests and were just so grateful we had two nights there. It is located close to the 3 restaurants and coffee house in inverkip and a short walk to a small grocery store. I highly recommend choosing the Foresters House to anyone considering a visit to Inverkip!"
