「Beautiful location. Our room was not ready at check-in. Told us it would be @ 15 minutes. We had to wait an hour. Hostess in restaurant was quite rude two nights in a row. We weren’t able to eat at restaurant because they had a large group of 20 so they shut down kitchen early, even though we were guests of the lodge. I think they are short of staff. Very disappointed.」

「Worth it! Brilliant location. Feels like being directly out in nature, but all the amenities of home. Timeless memories of sitting on the front deck of our own log cabin in the woods taking in the sights, sounds and scents of the kenai bush. 「It was a stop on our way to Homer. Was not sure what to expect in middle of nowhere. It turn out to be amazing experience. B&B may not sound like lot of amenities. But, the owner has maintained property very well. They put good thoughts managing property. Property is located at the center of nature’s haven- lake, mountains, tiny waterfalls on the mountain. 「The property needs updating and repairs. The light over my bed was falling off. They had curtain rods up butno curtains. we could hear the people above us. wokeus up in the morning.I would not recommend staying here.」

「What a great experience! The Yurt was great! It was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! There is no bathroom in the Yurt - - there are portable toilets and a shower a short walk away. Overall I would recommend this for a unique Alaska experience!」

「The owners Shirley and John were very nice. John lent my husband a fishing pole and lures. Shirley made THE BEST breakfast we had on our trip. The accommodations were very comfortable and we felt right at home! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.」
