「The hotel was very nice. We stayed in the two villas that sleep 4 people. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Their air conditioning was only for the bedrooms. The staff was very kind and helpful. They had a driver with the hotel, so getting into town was easy. We tried walking from the hotel to find a restaurant and ATM and didn't find anything except one bakery that was walkable. you need a cab or gogek to get anywhere.」

「I and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kalyana. The staff were wonderful, warm and welcoming. Responsive to questions / pre-bookings prior to our arrival from the US. We stayed in one of the wooden bedroom private pool villas. It was absolutely gorgeous - serene, and private. I was worried about mosquitos as it’s completely surrounded by rice fields. We were fine - no bites! Staff told us to let them know if we experienced any problems as they do spray - our bed had a mosquito...

「This property looks amazing in the pictures, and it did not disappoint! It is located in a quiet village close enough to Ubud but far enough to avoid the busy night life. It is surrounded by rice fields and a short walk to some great views. The host was outstanding and very accommodating. The villa was in superb condition, clean, well kept, will all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. The water is from a private well and also available filtered from the kitchen so no worry about drinking the tap...
