“A great central location for a weekend break in Masham. The barn was modern and clean and big enough for us as a family of four. Everything we needed was provided. We had come early evening following the Polar Express (Wensleydale) train ride in December, so it was a bit cold and took a while to heat up with its big rooms/high ceilings. However, by the next morning it was warm and cosy. Would stay again and definitely recommend ”

“My daughter’s , grandchildren and I stayed at Morton House for 2 nights whilst visiting the Polar Express (15 minutes drive away). The house was large , warm and welcoming. Children had a ball chasing each other around . Beds are extremely comfortable with quality bedding . Everyone slept very well . Perfect location , visited local churches and park , walked by the river .. Communication from host,, Michelle, was excellent. she even downloaded Polar Exoress film on Sky so the kids could watch……

“I had a worry that the cottage might be a little small but we had loads of room due to the layout being over three floors. The decor was smart and we had everythign we needed. It was very hot the day we arrived so it was particularly good to have the lounge in the basement. A few little niggles, none of them dealbreakers. “River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need.
