「No disappointments. Beautiful rustic/historic cabin over a pond. Hosts were there to greet us, gave us homemade treats, explained the history of the property, and were just fantastic people. Loved walking the farm—especially the week old Buffalo. Felt like finding a Diamond. Loved this stay! Slept great!」

「Great location on the watauga River in a country setting. Unique cabin, with Everything needed for our stay. Enjoyed a relaxing evening by the outdoor fire pit. Will likely stay there again next year. There are also two new mini-splits which made it very comfortable when the overnight temp dipped into the low 30’s 」

「I booked at this location specifically for Worley's Cave. It is a definite must that you explor this gem. This cabin is only 8 minutes from it. The owners of the cabin are amazing! Very friendly and responsive. The cabin is beautiful and it is a duplex! There are goats right outside that you can feed and a dog named bonnie who is so sweet. Jerry, the owner, recommended Cootie Brown restaurant which was phenomenal! He also told us to check out downtown Bristol which was exciting as well! Book...

「The Watauga River Cabins is a truly unique gem! The photos don't do it justice... it was larger than expected and the views of the river with fly fishing float boats causing by was spectacular. We were in town to visit my brother and his family for the Nascar race at Bristol, which was a short drive and came back to grill some steaks on the grill and have a campfire on the large back patio area while soaking in the scenery. I also fly fish and we were able o book a float trip with High Country...
