“Everything about the Buccaneer was an absolute dream! The rooms, the beaches, the food and especially the staff. Everyone there and in St. Croix in general were the kindest, happiest people we have come across. They went above and beyond to make sure you had anything you needed. The water on the beaches are crystal clear and calm, the entertainment was amazing and the golf course is beautiful, full of ocean views and wildlife. It was the absolute perfect honeymoon spot, not overly busy, ocean……

“Leaving five stars, because I really liked this hotel, and would like to see it succeed. My wife and I stayed here for one week from Apr. 28 to May. 5. The hotel itself is a historic stone building. Purportedly the building has been around since the 1600s, when it was used as a company office and sleeping quarters by the Danish West India Company. The building was recently given a 17 million dollar renovation with repairs, replacements, and additions to turn it into a functional hotel. Many……

“I was originally in a room 3rd floor One of the ladies came and told me they were upgrading my room. They moved me to the 2nd floor with oceanfront view. However the ice machine was right outside my door and very noisy. When they upgrade when not ask the guest should not be put next to the ice machine.”

“The owner was very friendly and helpful. Gave great recommendations on places to eat also. Hotel is located in a fairly central location with a short/reasonable drive to everything. Would definitely stay with them again!”

Had metal poking up on both beds, screaming kids until 1 o’clock in the morning, banging on the walls and screaming rundown building when we asked for another unit, the other unit was exactly the same had bugs in it run down worthless bed the owner that told us that if we wanted a refund we had to turn over the keys and leave right now that was at 1:30 in the morning we had to sleep with our car on the streets of St. Croix. This owner never responded to Orbitz……
