"This is a stunning location and the house is very well equipped. Glenelg is somewhat isolated but that is its charm. One local shop with limited opening times and limited stock .The nearest supermarket is 25 miles away. Handy for the Glenelg to Skye ferry. (Summer only).Recommend. "

"The hotel was well presented, very clean and welcoming. The rooms were decorated to a high standard, with good quality furniture, nice clean bedding and fresh towels. Shower was good and toiletries were there for use. Parking at the back of the hotel . The evening meal and breakfast were very good and well presented. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here."

"One night stay to put me in the right position for onward travel, perfect for that being so conveniently located opposite the train station. Had an early start so didn't have breakfast, but did enjoy a nice evening meal of steak pie and chips, with a great view from the restaurant. Struggled a bit to get my room at the right temperature and didn't sleep brilliantly, but I don't think that was the fault of the hotel, rather my travel plans meant a 6am train and I was focussed too much on when I needed to get up. Pleasant and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant. I shall certainly be coming back to spend a bit longer and explore the beach and some of the other villages along the railway line."

"We had a truly fantastic week in Glenelg staying in this great house. The views from the sunroom at the front are totally amazing and ever changing in all weathers. The house is big with a very nice garden and has been so well looked after by the owners. It was a great base for our family holiday with our adult kids and our dog. So many fantastic walks on the doorstep. The village of Glenelg is very friendly and relaxed with the pub doing great food and pints. Recommend booking in for the Sunday venison roast at The Glenelg Inn. Thank you so very much for such a fabulous stay in your wonderful home. "
