“We just had a great stay at the Hotel Boutique Casa Conde. The hotel is full of character and charm… right down to the creaky floors. Our room was simple, clean and well maintained. The proprietors retired couple Alfredo and Patricia were wonderful hosts, so warm and friendly. We also met their daughter and super cute grandson. “If you are coming to Santiago you MUST stay here! The area is the best in Santiago - we felt so safe and there were so many walkable options for food and drink around. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic - it is offered in the cafe just under the hotel. The guys on reception, Francis and Nicholas, are amazing. So kind, patient and go above and beyond. There is no lift in the hotel but they assisted us with luggage up and down. I couldn’t recommend this hotel……

“This hotel is very new, hence everything looks very comfortable in terms of lighting, interior design, and furniture. Just a 6 minute walking distance from Santa Lucia Metro Station, 8 minute to Nepture Fountain, 10 minute to La Moneda, and 12-15 minute to Plaza de Armas, excellent location. Hotel staff was warm and lovely, the day we arrived there was pouring rain and we were soaking wet, she immediately did some arrange for us so that we could clean ourselves and freshen up. “O quarto está precisando de reparos, o teto descascando e mofado em algumas areas, o chuveiro enferrujado e as janelas um tanto emperrada. O papel higienico era bem ruim, alem disso, informei na reserva que era um quarto para 3 pessoas, mas havia apenas 1 toalha. Tive que solicitar 2 vezes as toalhas faltantes. O café da manhã é bem simples, insatisfatorio. E é uma pena, pois o hotel está bem localizado e possui uma decoração bonita, mas parece que nenhuma manutenção é realizada a tempos. ”

We had a room with air conditioning on the sixth floor overlooking a side street closed to traffic. Our room was a comfortable size with good Wi-Fi. The shower was hot with a strong jet. Everything was clean. The breakfast buffet was extensive and of good quality. Unfortunately, the coffee was very weak. The staff were very friendly and……
