“I had an excellent stay at this VRBO in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The space was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with plenty of amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the balcony was a perfect spot to relax and unwind.The area felt very safe and secure, with on-site security, and it was easy to commute back and forth to everything I needed. “The apartment was not properly cleaned. There was an opened water bottle in the fridge with salt in it, clearly used and left for a new guest, lack of attention to detail and hygiene. I had tried to cancel earlier but couldn’t, so I confirmed with the host to proceed. Later, they called saying they would keep our belongings due to a misunderstanding with Expedia, which was very unprofessional. Overall, a terrible experience. I would not return or recommend.”
