An apartment on two floors in quiet location near beach & village situated in Praia da Luz, a former fishing village. The first floor has a large living-dining area with TV leading to a sunny balcony fronting the beach looking out to the sea with lovely views of the Black Rock (Rocha Negra). There is a fully fitted kitchen with washing and dishwashing machines. Downstairs there are two twin bedrooms with one bathroom. All of the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with ample storage space and one of them boast a full length balcony. The location could not be better as it is literally a two minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and bars.

This apartment is registered with the number 13781/AL and meets all the requirements regarding health and safety imposed by Portuguese law in the category of Accommodation for Tourists.

Condo

Generally, the condo was in really good condition and clean. Views and location are great. However, having traveled quite a bit, the keys to having a good experiences involves the smaller details to help you be comfortable and sleep well. At this location, we had no hot water for one evening, so we’re unable to take showers. It was a simple fix, but it could be fixed until the next day. In addition, the expresso machine did not work. The aspect we did not appreciate the most was the master bedroom was right adjacent to two parking lot lamps and there was no black shades so it felt like you were sleeping on the sun each night - even with eye coverings. This coupled with a very uncomfortable bed, made for very poor sleeping habits the entire time we stayed at this location. The owner really needs to invest in a better mattress and blackout shades in the master bedroom. Although this location had some really positive elements, I would not recommend staying here until the owner improve the master bedroom issues.

Wonderful!

Loved our stay in Luz. This flat is perfectly located; wonderful ocean view, quiet location but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Only a few minute drive if you need more extensive shopping. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Great location, amazing view

We had amazing weather, and the view from the upper balcony is spectacular! Everything is in walking distance. Parking is rather experimental. The object is a bit worn down, but still nice enough. A few things missing, toilett paper (only one half roll), only seats on the balcony, no launchers, that was slightly sad. The windows didn't work properly, some couldn't be secured. Other then that, the owner was always helpful to fix small issues right away. On the bright side, to not just complain, sleeping arrangements were good, pillows nice and comfy. And the rest was spruced up by great sun and no clouds and perfect ocean view. We also saw dolphins directly from the balcony in the mornings.

Stunning Sea Views

The big selling point of this property is the view. Sitting on the upper balcony (off the lounge) gives great views of the sea, beach and Black Rock. The place was clean and tidy and was cleaned again after the first week. Beds were comfy, shower was good. Kitchen had a fridge, freezer and washing machine. There were cooking facilities and a dishwasher that we didn't use as we ate out every day. I would guess you could prep and cook a meal if you wanted. The area is reasonably peaceful yet close to supermarkets, restaurants and bars. There is only one downside for us. You can't pick your neighbours. The let was on the top two floors of a house. The bottom storey was a separate let and if the host lets it out to a very noisy occupant then you will know about it. Thankfully it only affected the last couple of nights.

This property is in a great location and is quite big with great views from the lounge area and balcony. It was however quite dusty inside and looked like it needed a decent clean. It’s self catering but there were no basic utilities you might expect in an apartment like this? No dishwashing liquid, nothing for the washing machine or dishwasher, no kitchen paper towels, only one toilet roll. We bought stuff and left the remains behind but I suspect this will get taken before the next guests arrive?

Paulo's home is perfectly located overlooking the beach. We viewed beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the water, from the large balcony. A very spacious duplex, nicely appointed, well equipped kitchen, modern bath with generous amount of hot water. Highly recommended!

Magnificent views and location!!

We had such a wonderful time and Paulo's place was ideal! It was exactly as shown in the photos. Of all the towns we visited on the Algarve during our stay, we couldn't have chosen a more perfect location for us. Steps to the beach, as well as restaurants and groceries. We would love to stay there again next time we come back.

Sejour de rêve...

Accueil chaleureux malgré notre heure très tardive d'arrivée. Contacts rapides, efficaces et toujours très cordiaux avec notre hôte. Très belle décoration. Qualité de la literie, du linge à disposition. Proximité de la plage : quelques minutes à pied. Beauté de Luz et de l'Algarve au mois de mai, juin.

Erholsame Tage im überschaubaren Luz

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit tollem Ausblick und sehr guter Lage. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Leider mussten wir für die Benutzung der Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, für das Spülen mit Hand und auch Müllbeutel erst einmal im Ort einkaufen. Wir hatten erwartet, dass die Gebrauchsmenge für einen kurzen Urlaub vorhanden ist. Der mitbezahlte einmalige Putzservice in unseren 10 Tagen Aufenthalt hat die Betten sehr ordentlich gemacht, dafür aber die Toilette vergessen und weder ordentlich gefegt noch gewischt. Paulo war immer bemüht uns zu helfen und war gut zu erreichen. Der nachgelieferte Sonnenschirm war leider defekt und auch nur ein kleiner Strandschirm und nicht für den Balkon zu gebrauchen. Anregung: ein Schlüsseltresor, wie in der Nachbarschaft gesehen, wäre praktisch. Zusammenfassend 4 von 5 Sternen.

Strandnah und Sonnendurchflutet

wir sind sehr Zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet. Leider sind einige Vormieter nicht in der Lage gewesen, das Geschirr und die anderen Utensilien ordentlich sauber zu hinterlassen. Aber dafür kann der Vermieter ja nichts. Würde er das jedesmal im Nachgang selbst machen, wäre er den ganzen Tag beschäftigt. Das Bad hat eine sehr große Dusche mit zusätzlicher Regenbrause. Das zweite Schlafzimmer mit den Einzelbetten, hat einen extra Balkon, auf dem wir die nassen Handtücher vom Strand trockneten. Beide Schlafzimmer haben Einbauschränke mit aussreichend Platz für die Wäsche. Decken un Kissen sind vorhanden. Sogar zwei zusätzliche Klappbetten. Die Lage ist excellent. Zum Strand zu Fuß in tatsächlich nicht einmal 2 Minuten. Ein Supermarkt mit frischem, leckeren Obst und Gemüse sowie frischem Brot und einer guten Wurst- und Käsetheke ist zu Fuß in 3 Minuten erreichbar. Also eigentlich braucht man kein Auto. Kneipen und Restaurants gibt es fußläufig genug. Und da in Luz eine Menge Engländer sind (keine Angst; alles ältere Semster) kommt man mit Englisch auch gut durch. Kurz noch zum Auto: Keine Angst davor, die allermeisten Portugiesen fahren ordentlicher als wir Deutschen. Wir würden also die Wohnung jederzeit nochmals buchen. PS: Die Küstenwanderung nach Burgau können wir sehr empfehlen und die Kaltgetränke in einer der netten, nicht touristischen Bars auch sehr.

Schönes Ferienhaus in sehr guter Lage

Wir haben als Familie 2 Wochen in diesem sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist sehr zentral zum Strand, zur Promenade und zu den Supermärkten. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist jeden Tag neu beeindruckend. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gepflegt und entspricht der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Die gesamte Abwicklung der Buchung mit der Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte reibungslos. Luz und die Ferienwohnung von Paulo sind auf jeden Fall wieder eine Reise wert.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus mit tollem Meerblick

Wir haben 14 Tage in dem gemütlichen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus verbracht. Der gesamte Wohnraum verteilt sich auf zwei Etagen. Alles war ordentlich und sauber. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man als Selbstversorger braucht, incl. Gefrierschrank. Das Wohnzimmer ist wohnlich eingerichtet mit netter Dekoration an den Wänden, ohne überladen zu wirken. Vom angrenzenden teilweise überdachten Balkon mit schönen Gartenmöbeln hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Felsen, den Strand und das Meer, besser, als es auf dem Foto aussieht. Der Balkon liegt bis mittags in der Sonne, mit Sonnenschirm aber kein Problem. Das moderne Bad mit ebenerdiger Dusche und die beiden Schlafzimmer befinden sich in der unteren Etage. Die Betten sind groß und bequem, sie waren bei unserer Ankunft bezogen. Nach einer Woche wurde die Wohnung geputzt und wir bekamen frische Wäsche und Handtücher. Die Lage der Ferienunterkunft könnte nicht besser sein. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man den schönen Strand, die kleine Kirche, die Promenade, die beiden Supermärkte und verschiedene Restaurants. Wer Jubel und Trubel und Geschäfte braucht ist schnell in Lagos, mit dem Auto erreicht man in kurzer Zeit viele der umliegenden Ausflugsziele, und verschiedene Küstenwanderwege starten gleich vor Ort. Der Kontakt zu Paulo war vor und während des Urlaubs sehr gut. Wir würden immer wieder Luz und Paulos Ferienhaus für einen Algarveurlaub wählen.

Tolles Haus mit Meerblick und zentrale lage

Super schöne Lage, schöne Einrichtung. Nur eine Kritik unsererseits: in beiden Schlafzimmern können die Fenster nicht verriegelt werden- dh. vorne ebenerdig nur im geschlossenen Zustand. Ansonsten alles ganz prima.

optimale Lage für einen entspannten Urlaub!

Das Apartment ist eigentlich ein Reihenhaus mit 1. und 2. Stock. Im 2. Stock befinden sich das Wohnzimmer und Küche, im 1. Stock zwei Schlafzimmer und das Bad. Das Erdgeschoss ist abgeschlossen und ist nicht bewohnt. Auf beiden Ebenen kann man auf einen Balkon. Vom Wohnzimmer Balkon hat man wirklich einen super Ausblick, wie auf dem Foto. Hier kann man die Morgensonne beim Frühstück genießen, ab Nachmittag liegt der Balkon im Schatten. An heißen Tagen wäre eine Markise oder Sonnenschirm wünschenswert. Das Wohn/Esszimmer war schön bis auf den Esstisch. Fernsehen nur spanische Sender und 3 englische Nachrichtensender, aber mit HDMI Eingang. Wifi sehr, sehr gut. Küche war mit allem ausgestattet.In der Nähe sind Restaurants, unsere Empfehlung das Luz Beach Cafe endless summer für kleine Gerichte(super Service) und das Mittagsmenü im Forteleza de la Luz Restaurant. 5 Min zu Fuß 2 Supermärkte mit Bäcker und Self Service Cafe, zum Strand auch ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Von Luz aus kann man über den Küstenwanderweg nach Faro oder bis Sagres wandern, traumhaft. Negative Punkte zur Wohnung: Die Schlafzimmer rochen sehr muffig, hier wäre mal eine Investition in neue Schränke notwendig(Die Betten waren gut).Bad ohne Fenster. Für den Winter ist die Wohnung nicht so geeignet, da es nur einen elektrischen Heizkörper gibt.Es gibt auch noch einen offenen Kamin im Wohnzimmer. Wir verbrachten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Luz.
