「The cabin was great,- comfortable, very clean in a good location. Staff was super friendly and helpful.」

「Leslie, the home owner, was easy to communicate with. She was pleasant and highly accommodating. We traveled for a conference and enjoyed a little respite in her cabin. I enjoyed how it was close to town, but secluded with only a couple other properties in the same corner. The cabin was like home and the hot tub was an oasis after long days. We did not have any issues during our stay and would gladly stay at Leslie’s property again. 」

「We stayed here for the Maggie valley hillbilly jam. The house was cozy just like the pictures. The host was wonderful to work with. The refrigerator was not cooling or freezing appropriately when we got there and she was very quick to come check it out and bring in another small one for us. Just a couple of things to consider… like I said I have no complaints what so ever just something’s that caught my eye but nothing that would make me not stay here again! - the beds are SUPER soft… I think...

「We loved the Steps Away Cottage in Waynesville and are trying to plan a trip back this fall. The cottage is only a few blocks from the downtown of Waynesville, it was nice to be able to walk up to town for meals and shopping. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There is so much to do in the Waynesville area, it was a great weekend!」

「This was our first time to North Carolina. We are from the southwest so it is very different here. It is lush and green and beautiful. You have neighbors but you can’t really see them even though there are no fences. The house was great lots of room and privacy and it was clean. Paper products and towels and coffee were scarce but the house is lovely. The drive way is steep and narrow. We enjoyed it very much!」

「The house was beautiful with private views of the mountain. House was clean and well stocked with towels, cleaning supplies, and extra toilet paper. The host was very communicative and available to answer any questions. The kids loved the game room with the ping pong table. This will likely become our go-to house for our future visits. 」

「We wanted a quiet and peaceful weekend in the Mountains, and Modern Mountain cabin was the perfect place. The house is beautiful, just as advertised, in a quiet neighborhood, and within walking distance to downtown. The perfect location with an amazing mountain view. Tom & Carol were great to deal with. Highly recommend.」

This property was more beautiful than the photos and the views from the property were amazing to say the least. 「Three generations of my family (ages 17 - 87) spent a week at Ridgeview Retreat. The house is large, spacious, well-appointed, clean, comfortable and has spectacular views of the mountains. I appreciated Racquel's attention to detail and the comprehensive binder she has created with information about the house, nearby attractions, and dining recommendations.
