「The Island is a great place to stay. It’s right on the water, and we enjoyed long days relaxing, swimming and being out on the water on the stand-up paddle boards and in the kayaks. We had a wonderful night a night of fishing right off the dock when the lake was calm and our boys caught some fish. The sunsets were gorgeous. The kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable. The house was open and spacious with plenty of room in the kitchen to cook and a table for the family to eat at and play games. The steps from the parking area down to the house were challenging. There are a lot of steps and they are a little uneven. The steps inside to the walkout basement are even more challenging. The game room was disappointing. It was stuffy, musty, and damp.
