An unforgettable experience

The resort well deserves its name! It was paradise indeed, as the whole resort is surrounded by white sand beaches, the clearest water I have ever seen and lovely fish. We opted for the all inclusive package and stayed at a water villa. All the facilities were so clean and well maintained. House keeping was impeccable. There were so many activities and excursions to choose from so we never a moment of boredom. As for the food, I can tell that the resort tried to change the menu daily. It was well prepared and we particularly enjoyed our meal at the seafood restaurant. Finally I would also like to highlight that the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

poor customer services is a disaster

I lived in a water villa with my wife. The services were terrible with this grade of hotel. The staff were bureaucratic and I did not feel that I was their customer. For the transfer from hotel to airport, the speed boat departed at noon, 3pm, 6pm, i.e. every three hours. The staff told me that the frequency of the speed boat was in accordance with the international standard. I was assigned to take the speed boat at 6pm. If I wished to change the pre-assigned speed boat, I should go to the reception to sign an agreement and to take up all responsibilities. I checked out before noon but just missed the speed boat at noon. A woman told me that I could take the speed boat at 3pm. I should return at 2pm to settle the final payment, if any, and at 230 pm to collect the luggage. The lobby had no air conditioning. Wifi should be paid. Only one small shop was opened. The speed boat departed at 310pm. If we stored our luggage at the hotel’s counter, we should pay US$ 5 for each luggage. Finally, I stored my luggage at the airport, which also charged at the same rate but in a safer and orderly manner. Other aspects of the hotel were generally good. But the poor customer services made our holiday and the hotel a disaster.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Villa Nautica war einfach unvergesslich. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die bunte Unterwasserwelt, die man in der Umgebung erleben kann. Zudem war die Betreuung durch die Gästebetreuerin Azha einfach hervorragend. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, den ich sehr empfehlen kann!

The resort is beautiful but most of all the service is excellent. For a resort on the more affordable end it actually exceeded our expectations on the service level. The all-inclusive package features a good cocktail list, the buffet is “average” at best. It is nice to have a minibar partially included as well, although, I would suggest to be a bit more flexible with the “two soft drinks a day” policy, which I find a bit ridiculous to be honest. Also with the quality of the wines, it might be better to not serve wine at all as part of the all-inclusive package. I think the disappointment of that would be less than to be served this kind of horrible wine. One last peace of improvement could be found in the “Expedia VIP acces gold member recognition”, although we did not receive a room upgrade I did strongly got the feeling that we were put in one of the best possible rooms within our booked category. But I had to ask hour host to get confirmed that this indeed was the case. The room was simply amazing and one of the best villa’s on the island. But at checking nobody told us specifically about this. It’s a quick win to tell your guests actively that they can enjoy the benefits of one of the newest and biggest villa’s when you assign them to them. We hade a great stay and the value for money, especially considering you are on the Maldives, is on the right level here. Special thanks to our host Rishwaan, buffet server Dinesh and buffet host Geethinka who made us feel welcome!

Unglaublich freundliches Servicepersonal in allen Bereichen - Island Hosts, Restaurants, Bars, Sport, Zimmerservice - das habe ich so noch nie erlebt! Jeder Wunsch wird einem von den Lippen abgelesen. Auch das Essen ist vielfältig, abwechslungsreich und von wirklich guter Qualität! Die Anlage ist einfach traumhaft! Und auch die Sportmöglichkeiten sind toll! Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Tischtennis, Gym, Surfen, Kanu… und das Schnorcheln direkt vor der Tür ist ein wahrer Traum!

There all inclusive was more like only 30% inclusive. I paid for all inclusive and was not able to enjoy half of their drink selection. The lagoon restaurant was great tho. Very disappointed in the poor area inclusive drink selection. Not worth the extra money!!!!

Villa Nautica’da geçirdiğim tatil gerçekten harikaydı. Her şey baştan sona kusursuzdu; ortamı, temizliği ve genel atmosferi beklentilerimin çok üzerindeydi. Tüm ekip son derece ilgili ve güleryüzlüydü, kendimi çok özel hissettirdiler. Herkese gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ediyorum
