“Unfortunately, our stay fell well below basic cleanliness and sanitation standards. Upon arrival, we found numerous mouse droppings on the kitchen counter, spider webs, and other cleanliness issues. We also found wood debris on the counter and a soaking wet bath towel that raised concerns about whether the towels had been properly laundered. We cleaned the mouse droppings ourselves because we needed a sanitary surface for food preparation. Although the property manager offered to send someone……

“The place was clean except for the rug in the living room that needs to be replaced because that's the first thing you see when you walk in . The refrigerator is very small. The mattress is extra firm which I don't mind but my husband hated and the bathroom sink is very tiny. Don't even try to brush your teeth in it or you will wind up with water all over you and your feet. It's in a perfect location and it worked well for what we needed. Just beware if you're coming with a bunch of food it will……

“We were in town for a wedding in Spearfish and decided to stay in downtown area, and chose this little cottage based on the reviews. We were not disappointed! We had everything we needed, easy parking, warm cottage with all the amenities. The locals are SO FRIENDLY! We LOVED the area, and definitely are considering a return trip for a vacation getaway to explore the region in a bit warmer weather. We will definitely stay at this property again!”

“We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is a lovely cottage with warmth and character that made our trip even more memorable. It was clean and well stocked with supplies. The owners were very hospitable and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property for a genuine feel of what the area has to offer. It seemed to be centrally located between the major attractions which made it an enjoyable scenic drive as well. This will be our go to for any visits in the future!”
