I didn't like that I reserved a room and paid for it over 2 months ago. Specifically, the only reason I chose this hotel, and my specific room, was because I wanted the oversized jetted tub. When I checked in and was told of the renovation, I explained I wasn't happy because I had only chosen hotel/room for oversized jetted tub that no longer existed. I would have thought some sort of discount/refund appropriate. Apparently, Doubletree doesn't care about customer satisfaction or the fact that promised facility didn't exist by the time I got there (but after I'd paid for it.) I will not go back to a Doubletree because customer satisfaction does not appear to be important to you. I did receive a last-minute e-mail warning of the change, but it was too late to reserve a room elsewhere. I'm quite shocked at the low priority of customer satisfaction.

Property is currently under renovation. Our newly renovated room was excellent, suiting room with sofa bed, comfortable bed and linens and beautiful bathroom accommodations. Enjoyed the Crabtree & Evelyn bath products that were furnished. It will be an excellent property when renovations are complete.

The room was advertised with a spa tub, and was a determining factor in my selection. When I checked in the room had a stand in shower. I called the front desk hoping this was an error and I was told they are remodeling and would update the Expedia listing soon. The carpet leading to the bathroom was damp. Breakfast buffet was advertised in the listing but unavailable on a Saturday. So we decided to sit in and order breakfast. The server greeted us saying it would be 15 mins before she could help us. There were only a few guests at the time. As a previous server, I was appalled. The front desk lady was nice, but seemed cheery and unaffected my my complaints. Any one of those incidents on its own would be inconsequential, however as a whole, I am disappointed, and to be honest upset.

This property shows online that the honeymoon suite has a whirlpool tub in the room. It does not. This is very upsetting that I feel I paid a premium price for something I did not receive. It was a waste of my time and money.

They were designed with a soaking tub with large walk-in shower, a more modern feel. I apologize that the website photos have not been changed as that process takes time with approvals. I am very sorry to hear you did not enjoy your newly renovated honeymoon suite.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I don't know if it was due to construction on the other floors, but the bathroom sink backed up in the middle of the night and didn't drain. We still had a nice overnight stay.

The water in the shower was only lukewarm even tho it was hot in the sink. When I went down to check out the breakfast buffet, I let the lady at the front desk know. Then I went over and fixed a plate of food. I was met at the table by a lady who asked if I knew about the buffet. I asked what it was and she said it was $15. I told her that I wish i had known that before I fixed a plate. She went over to the front desk to charge it to my room and was told that there would be no charge since there was an issue with the room.

No hot water
First off. No hot water for a shower/bath. So the oversized bathtub was a disappointment along with taking a shower. Now had we had hot water then the tub would of been awesome. Hotel was clean and had comfy beds. For the price and no hot water was disappointing. The hotel staff was very friendly and the lobby was pretty. I would definitely stay again if I knew they had hot water. But currently I wouldn't recommend it until they get the water fixed.

We just booked the one night and almost cancelled and left. The first room they put us in the hot water did not work in the tub or shower. The floors and tub were peeling. They moved us to a room with working hot water, but the tub was gross, black stuff was shooting out of the jets. The whole room had an icky grimy feel. The TV remote batteries didn’t even work. All the staff was just kind of existing, they really didn’t care. The construction wasn’t even an issue, we left before it started for the day.

Under construction in the lobby and some other areas, but no noise or other issues while there. Hotel is basically in middle of everything! Can walk to some restaurants but close to all others. Enjoyed the stay!!

One of the best stays!
This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were oversized so it made the stay feel way more comfortable. The staff was very nice and they made us feel welcomed. They’re currently under construction and updating everything…it’s going to be beautiful when it’s done.

Property is undergoing renovation so that is a factor to consider. The front desk staff and breakfast wait staff were friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast option is dismal.

The property was under construction in the main lobby area so was messy and noisy. I was warned by the property in advance. Front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating. Room was a bit shabby but clean. Breakfast buffet adequate and well stocked.

Hotel will be beautiful when construction is finished. Atrium is being worked on. Gorgeous room with beautiful view over atrium. Work started at 10am ended at 6pm. Restaurant and bar in a conference room. It will be absolutely amazing around December!
