“I have stayed at a Village hotel before in Cheadle and it was great, but this was a disappointing trip. The bedroom was small (even though I was in a club room) but clean and the staff were lovely. However what spoilt this trip was the filthy restaurant. We arrived on Friday and could not find a table to eat without dirty plates still on them. 75% of the tables in this restaurant had not been cleared or cleaned at 5pm. It was disgusting. Then in the morning for breakfast, there was food under……

“The room itself was clean, but not well maintained. No bedside light so a bit annoying. The bathroom was not clean as clean as it should have been, hair in the sink, and no plug. The shower nearly flooded as drainage wasn't that great. I didn't have breakfast or go to the bar. Considering it was the middle of a heatwave, no fans were provided.”
