Stayed for the London marathon, so a great location. Good facilities including a lovely pool with a view. Excellent staff on reception who were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Rooms were compact but well equipped, with comfy bed, small kitchenette and warm shower. Ideal choice for our purposes

The building, lobby and room where nicely decorated, clean and had lots of amenities. The location was very convenient, right in Canary Wharf and very close to the LDR. Only thing was that there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom pipes. Everything else was great.

Good facilities, rooms a tad small but in a good location. Note, everything closes at 11pm so if you get back from work late there isn't much to do. Also the sauna was being turned off at 10pm so for that last hour its not hot. Other than that great place and the pool views in the morning is lovely to watch the sun come up.

We do have other studio types, Premium and 1 bedroom apartments, where the size of the bedroom and bathroom is much bigger than the studio you stayed in. Regarding the early closure of amenities like the sauna and limited options for late-night entertainment, we'll take your comments into consideration as we strive to improve our guest experience. Our night duty manager do regular checks on the sauna to ensure it remains fully operational until 11pm. Nevertheless, we're delighted that you still enjoyed your stay overall, especially the beautiful sunrise views from the pool area. Whilst booking and looking at the photos of the rooms. It looked decent until I arrived. Photos of the rooms are very deceiving I must say and it was pure disappointment as I got to my room. The building had no air and felt really tight and congested. If I could last remember it reminded me of a struggling student’s uni accommodation. The standard room I had, had no ac or some type of air ventilation. So we asked for a fan which they provide upon request and it was a 2005 socket plug fan which was blowing hot air so no good at all! I couldn’t imagine this place for anyone to stay during summer! Moving on, the beds… absolutely terrible. Spring small and very uncomfortable which gave me a back ache the following day. The location was decent to get around. But other than that I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is the first and last time I’ll be booking this place that’s for sure.

We had a fabulous time the only issue was the sound of the train! Which can not be helped but did disturb sleep, the hotel was clean, staff nice, pool facilities amazing! Everything with in walking distance, would stay again

The Ark is a great modern building in a really convenient spot for Canary Wharf. Room is small but well equipped, front desk were friendly, pool is a nice addition. TV In my room was broken I reported this by message the evening I arrived and in person the following morning but unfortunately it wasn’t fixed for the duration of my stay. There is a kitchenette but no crockery/cutlery which was a little strange!

It was affordable and modern. Good location next to the DLR station. Bed was pretty small and the bathroom also very small. Expect a younger crowd. Amenities were good. Excellent lounge on the 20th floor.

Basing my review on a 1 night stay, we had a great time. The price was very reasonable compared to other options we say and we were able to use facilities such as games room and pool. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Bear in mind you do hear the DLR from the room but we actually like the sound to go to bed so we didn't mind. I wish we could control the temperature of the room though, it's the one thing that could have made our stay better.

This place is gross. Don't even bother. I heard that this place could be compared to the Locke living aparthotels -- fake news. ARK is very much a joke, they sell you a dream with their splashy interior of the lobby but when you make your way to your room, you're greeted by dingy, cramped, stale damp smelling rooms. The microwave was a headache to operate. The shower was appallingly small and grimy. Only do one night stay at the very most. The wifi is SO bad too and requires sign up account which is annoying. The basement games room was probably the only saving grace but the cinema rooms got hogged by people who glare at those wanting to use it. However, the laundry rooms are hellish -- the rotten stench of body odour hits you as you enter. I've never seen paid wash rooms for aparthotels but the facilities hardly looked clean enough to use. The elevators broke down during the end of my stay - imagine 10 people stood there confused, waiting for an elevator that never came down. Walking up 13 flights of stairs was horrid. What's funny is that ARK has been spam emailing me about renting a place for £1500 pcm - the quality of my stay makes this laughable. I will not return.

The staff here were really nice, helpful and accommodating, the facilities were nice, gorgeous pool sauna and jacuzzi, with great views and nice coworking space and eatery options. The main issues were the other people staying there. No regard to anyone else, partying on a sunday night til 3am, then constant banging on other floors all night. The security went to visit 3 times to keep the noise down.
