The walls are as thin as paper. It is such a shame because it is such a nice property, clean and great location. We were woken up every hour to slamming doors, knocking, and outside noise. Super frustrating especially when you are traveling from the United States with a time difference. Probably wouldn’t return unfortunately because of this issue alone.

Excellent location! So walkable. And close to Russell Square underground station. Very clean room, spacious for a london hotel. Very safe, almost to an annoying degree (tap hotel card to get into building, into elevator, into floor, into room). Nicely remodeled bathroom. Only complaint was how stiff the beds and pillows were.

Hotel is part of the imperial London hotel and the city 2 is a refurbished section. It’s clean, modern with good spacious rooms, well placed in Bloomsbury just s stones throw from Russell tube station. Would stay again
