Location is very accessible

Check in was very quick. Happy with the location , very near to the EILTS testing center. Staffs are friendly. Will book this hotel again.

Nice option for a short stay, rooms are quite small and tired but very friendly service, easy check-in and the hotel is a step away from Olympia.

Staff were friendly. Location was convenient. Room was average in condition at best, the laminate floor was swollen and very noisy, the smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag, meaning this created a health and safety risk. The bathroom was not very clean, dirty grout, cracked floor tile, corroded fixtures and something brown smeared on the tiles.

Good convenient location and friendly reception staff but property is definitely not 4 stars as advertised. More like 2 stars. Blocked sink, broken toilet seat, dirty cups, bad smell in the building and dust under the beds. Run down and needs a total revamp.

Good location but very poor place and service

Overall very poor. The only good thing about this place is the location that is good and quiet too ! Fridge not working they move us another room and again fridge was not working….we were waiting for ages until they gave another room…..bad smell straight away from the entrance….the furniture needs replacing as everything else…. Definitely 100 % not going back ….and my advice is avoid

Convenient, get what you pay for

Very convenient for events at Olympia which is why we picked it. This was my second stay. Staff we very helpful and the location is good. The room was clean enough for a couple of days but could do with a good dusting. Bedding (and beds) need replacing and room needs TLC in places but you get what you pay for an no major issues. Wifi was fine for browsing (didn't try streaming), room had lovely aircon and a mini fridge which was very convenient. Room was also generally pretty quiet and housekeeping made it nice and tidy each day. Would probably stay here again for an event at Olympia.

Great value for a night while attending an event at the Olympia - for which the entrance was just a couple of minutes from the door! Room was small but clean and well equipped. It could possibly have used a little TLC on wobbly taps etc but not a problem at all for us. The staff were friendly and allowed us to leave our bags after check out. We'll definitely be looking to book again next time we attend an event at the Olympia.

OK but need to improve

I have used Simply Rooms on a number of occasions and will use them again mainly due to type of accomodation and location. Having had to pay a bond of £100 (refundable this time I was a bit disappointed to find the kettle housing damaged and the window blind inoperable. Having requested extra milk I waited 2 hours before going to reception and explaining I hadn't any.

I was sceptic after reading all the bad reviews online. Yes it is run down, but it’s reflected in the price you pay. They must have changed cleaning companies because I had a very clean room, fresh sheets and towel changes every day. You see the cleaners come in and work every morning for at least half the day. Reception staff very nice

The hotel is nice place to stay. Its quiet and comfortable. I also think they should assist customers in lifting their bags to the upper floors as there's no elevator in the building. I struggled with my box to the third floor and got my bag damaged because the stairs is also quite narrow. Water should be made available for every additional days booked. Being entitled to bottle water only at the first day doesn't encourage long staying customers.

Giving an opinion on a hotel in London is always difficult, considering the average prices of hotels, especially those in central areas. The structure in question is a fairly old building, completely renovated internally, apart from the slightly vintage wooden stairs which evidently date back to the original structure. The rooms are modern, on average small, but not uncomfortable, with complete services and absolute cleanliness, even if the services available are very minimalist (no breakfast, no minibar, no elevator), only a generous availability of excellent English tea, sugar and kettle, with which you can still organize a pleasant pre-breakfast. Overall, considering the prices of the rooms, significantly lower than other hotels in the area, it is a structure that in London has a good quality-price ratio. I think I will use it again.

The property was nice and so was the room, but it was not what we'd call luxury as described on the website. It was clean and th bed comfortable, but the pillows are poor. They are so flat that two even three is not enough for a truly comfortable night. Having said that we managed to sleep ok. For some reason the floor was very noisy, there was a cracking sound which sounded like something being dropped on the floor, whenever you moved. The shower was lovely and the towels nice and big. It was a pleasant stay and very close to Olympia where we'd been during the day. We'd probably stay again, but hopefully the pillows would be better.

This property is a bit shabby and run down and everything is a little grim. The service is not great. I left my dirty towels on the floor to be changed, as instructed, and I got back to find that the cleaner had picked them up and hung them back up again. The person on duty did rectify this when I complained though. Dirty cups and glasses did not get changed. They did not have any hand towels. However it was otherwise well equipped with hairdryer, safe, fridge, tissues, sockets etc and the shower was very good and the room warm.

Just OK needs a re vamp

The Hotel is in a good location for Olympia, I stayed here for one night. The staff were generally helpful and allowed me to check in an hour early. The place in general is a little tired and wasn't the cleanest hotel i've stayed in. lots of dust on the windows and the matress on the bed was really scuffed which you could feel through the sheets. The floors were really noisy in my room which was annoying for me and no doubt the room underneath. Facilities were ok and the kitchenette in my room was a bonus to cook food and breakfast. The pillows are terrible, super thin and abviosuly not been replaced in years. although i was given 3 of them so that was ample for me on my own. had i been sharing it would have been an issue. cant understand why such a small expense hasnt been taken care of given so many people on the reviews have mentioned this. My car was broken in to and my front window smashed on the road outside the hotel in the middle of the afternoon so if you're traveling by car use a multi story rather than park outside. Apparently not the first time its happened yet the Hotels CCTV that was directly outside the hotel wasnt working. Not the best stay for various reasons but an ok hotel for the price if you're visiting a show at olympia.

The staff has been the kindest I’ve ever talked to, we had issues with our flight due to terrible weather conditions and they still waited for us to arrive safe and sound. I cannot thank them enough for all their help and understanding with our situation

The room was tatty dirty marks on the walls and ceiling cracks in the walls. Shower screen broken no plug in the bathroom sink. Leading up to the room star carpet needs replacing or a good clean and a very pleasant smell. I did stay at this hotel before and it was very good but it seems to have gone downhill I won’t be booking again at this hotel.
