"Wonderful, cozy cottage feel. Kind and attentive hosts. Delicious fresh local breakfast. James even made us a nice breakfast to go when we had to catch the early ferry on our last morning. Quiet forest setting and an easy drive to town. Highly recommended!"

"Parking was good. The grab-n-go type breakfast was average. Counters were clean and well-stocked. The poor rating for cleanliness was due to a very sticky bathroom floor. It was also filthy when we decided to wash it with a washcloth because we didn’t want to walk on it in bare feet. As well, the room spray when we first arrived was incredibly strong. We opened the window fully to try and air it out, left for a couple hours, and came back to find it was just as strong. My wife got a bad headache from it. When we complained to the front desk, they offered a different, “neutral” spray to use, which we declined. We asked about changing to a different room and was told because we had “used” the room, that was not an option. (Only the bathroom was used.) We were told that because we paid for the room through Expedia that they could not offer a refund, which we never even asked for. This was reiterated twice, and we told them we weren’t asking for that. Needless to say, the window was open all night even though it was a cold night. The bed was a queen on a bed frame with wheels that the “brake” was not set in the on position. No headboard. Mattress was soft. The towels were fluffy and clean. Shower had nice hot water. There was a small microwave and fridge which were okay. We would not return to this hotel. "

"The whole place is excellent ! I love the 2 bedroom cabin we stayed at . It has fabulous views of Mitchell Bay from the dining/living room and the 2 bedrooms . We love that you could cook and bbq . Josie and Janice were so helpful and wonderful ! We can’t wait to come back in the summer ! "

"The rooms were clean and well stocked Really liked that real coffee cups, nice. The grounds are gorgeous . Loved all the little nooks of patio chairs and benches around the property. Only thing is is, it isn’t designed for someone that depends on a walker or wheelchair. It wasn’t impossible, just difficult. "

"An incredible choice of hot foods DAILY for breakfast! And the juice is fresh! Awesome customer service, housekeeping was amazing and an absolute joy to chat with. Loved the washer and dryer…so convenient. Best hotel in Oak Harbor for clean rooms, a happy front desk and yummy food! Thanks Coachman Inn!!"

"Nice property and very helpful staff. They are helpful with local info and places to see etc. TV screen damaged- not their fault and said they would alert maintenance. Pretty close to ferry if you need to walk- it is an uphill 4 blocks but doable for us easily. "
