The facelift of the exterior after 142 years is a work in progress and once you step beyond the scaffold and open the doors you will feel right at home. "Updated hotel near everything. Front desk staff very professional. Clean room. Parking is a little confusing. It’s free. There are 3 levels, so drive around the hotels block if you cannot find parking on the level you are on. Each level’s entrance is different, but the elevator is available on each level."

"The innkeeper was incredible. He was great at communication, and super nice. He sent over instructions to find the inn, and parking ahead of time. He was there to welcome us when we checked in, and offered to help with our luggage. Our room was clean, well decorated and beautiful. We were surrounded by a lot of antiques. The breakfast was amazing. Better than most of the hotels i've stayed in. Luxurious ones included. The staffs were nice and helpful. The area was safe and super walkable. A lot of restaurants in that neighborhood to dine in. I only have good things to say about it. Will come back again. Strongly recommended."
