“Great stay at Laguna resort, which is a quiet and relaxing retreat on the outskirts of Vilamoura. Taxi to the marina is around €6, excluding tip. You could walk although it’s about 30mins in the heat. Limited dining options on the resort but plenty within a short taxi ride. Villa cleaned 6 days (Sunday off), downside was the hot tub is not operational and top level unusable, also patio area could have been cleaner. “All staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful. We had a huge apartment with a huge balcony facing the golf course. The hotel arranged the new year party for the guests and we had an excellent time. When we left the hotel, I forgot my favourite T-shirt in the bedroom. The day after I rang and told the reception what happened. The staff took their time to look for my shirt and found it. My T-shirt even arrived home before we did. Excellent service.”

“Such a beautiful place to stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bedding was a lovely crisp cotton. Great cooking facilities and every cooking utensil we needed. Very peaceful and quiet location.We drank of an evening in the 4 local bars and they also had Happy Hour from 3-6pm. We used Uber Taxis and they were very cheap and well recommended. Overall a wonderful 5* Experience!”
