「We enjoyed our stay but ran into a few bothersome things. We arrived over an hour after check in time & our room wasn’t ready. There was no apology, just a “give it another 10 minutes”. And when we inquired about the meeting place for a kayak tour we scheduled, front desk staff was rude. They explained the kayak tour was not connected to them even though the meeting place was at their property. They could’ve politely just pointed us in the right direction. They can deal with the kayak tour owner...

「Booked a king room and received 2 queens. When returned to the front desk about the mistake, was told they are sold out and there is nothing she could do. The bathroom reeked of mildew and the bathroom fan didn't work. I believe the hotel is used primarily for workers in the area...we had a person loudly jumping up and down for several hours the first night until 11:00pm then resumed jumping at 7:00am the next morning. 「Loved it very much, My friend and I arrived very late in the night, thought it could be a issue to clock-in, while they left us the key in envelope which ensure us to enter the room. The staff are super friendly and nice, the rooms are clean, I would definately recommend this place」

「A bit old and run down」

「This is an old, grand hotel that is just hanging on! First, the positives. We had a lakeside suite with beautiful views of the marina and the sunset. The shower was great! Breakfast offered some protein & fruit options. Unfortunately, the guest room was dated with old kitchen appliances and cabinets. We would've appreciated more space in the bathroom than in the suite itself (the door couldn't swing open/closed if someone was sitting on the toilet and there was only room for one guest at a time...

「the slides are gone so it definitely can't be considered a water park. there was mud crusted on the stairs from someones muddy boots that was there all 3 days of our stay and the room smelled mildew/moldy」

「Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable!」

「Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area.」
