「I've stayed here on a number of occasions over the last decade and a bit. I've always found it to be friendly, with good beer and good food. My only reservations are that in colder months, the chalets can be a bit on the cool side despite having heaters. However, on this occasion, I was in one of the newer rooms and the bathroom was nice and warm in the morning and best of all contained a walk-in shower stall, far better than clambering over a bath tub! 「We loved our stay at the crown, the hotel rooms are beautifully decorated and to such a high quality, the breakfast included in the room rate is cooked to such a high quality using the best quality ingredient very impressive. The restaurant for an evening meal was also very good. We will be staying here again without hesitation as the staff on top are truly so lovely an hospitable.」

「A lovely countryside stay. The pub is beautiful, a great mix of an old pub with modern design. Everything feels lovely and clean. Huge beds! I would say though, we stayed on a Sunday and the road out the front on the Monday morning was quite noisy (rush hour, bin men and gas refill right outside the window of our room). I doubt the rooms were full with it being a Sunday, so it would have been good if they put us out the back. If you can, request a room at the back of the building! 」

「We were unexpectedly upgraded to a more luxurious suite which surpassed all expectations. Beautiful complimentary beauty products. Would highly recommend this to couples wanting some quality down time. Breakfast was good quality along with the attentive service. 」
