"I was plesantly surprised the place doesn't look like much from the outside. But when you get inside to the pool area and the way everything is set up, it is tranquil. I'm beautiful if you're looking for a lot of action. This is not the place for you, but if you're looking for a beautiful, clean tranquil place with nice service. And good people, this is the place bed's are amazingly comfortable slept like a baby. Some of the room's are small. I had a womb with a king-sized bed. Which was spacious everything was great"

"Great location walking distance of beach, shops, restaurants. Exterior is very nice but interior definitely needs attention. Need good paint job thru entire unit including doors, all furnishing needs be updated very dated furniture Linen very limited only one towel pp for 2people for the week. Had ask for more towels of which he accommodated but only towel. If you need wash cloths and hand towels be sure to ask for those as well. Had to ask please turn hot water up really like to have hot shower Pillows were very flat and only a thin blanket was provided. I suppose you get what you pay for. Exterior of property very lovely and just across the road from ocean. No view to speak of but felt very safe. "

"False advertisement. The rooms are tiny but thats ok for one person. The view is of a divested downtown. Graffiti. If you like that, then great. If you're looking for a more scenic view right out of your window, this aint it. The staff are really nice. Ask for the second floor which is a better stay overall.Also the windows are very tiny. "

"This place is a complete scam. They take your money but don’t actually secure your booking. When we showed up to the address, it looked like an abandoned rehab center with people wandering around inside a locked gated fence. There was no proper front desk—just a gate where you have to call someone to even attempt to check in. The man who answered was extremely rude. He kept repeating that check-in was at 4 PM, even though my flight had been delayed by a full day. I had already paid for Friday night but couldn’t arrive until Saturday because of the delay. Instead of working with me at all, he told me that was “my problem” and that the room had already been rented to someone else because I didn’t show up. So they kept the money and gave the room away. The entire interaction happened through a locked gate from the street. Completely unprofessional and sketchy. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place."

"We were not aware that is property was self serve. No house keeping, no clock and no safe. We were able to adjust. The location of the apartment was not accurate as we were suppose to have a water view not a parking lot view. Will have to be more careful in the future and check details more closely before booking."

"Our stay at Lagoon Studios was wonderful. Great location. Rene and Sharon were very helpful with great suggestions of things to see and do. Lovely place. Hope to go back. "
