“Seems strange but the property was all but empty, off season, yet the room above us was booked with noisy guests and we were put in a room with a parking lot view when better views were available. Upgrading rooms…good thing but was not a bother to us. Some upgrades were done in our condo which were very nice!”

“The stay was short (2 nights) but a great location for seeing the OBX. The host very quick to respond and maintained great communication before and after our stay. The home was very clean and well stocked even with a coffee bar! The ocean is very close and although it was a little stormy out the first night, we felt safe and secure. The next day was sunny and very enjoyable. We toured around the OBX and tried different restaurants that gave us that laid back atmosphere that NC is famous for.……

There are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed such as a loose board on the deck and the shower curtain rod needs to be permanently attached so it doesn’t fall on someone else’s head. We would stay here again on our next trip to the Outher Banks if it was available.”

“I stayed here with my husband and two young children, preschooler and baby, for a one week spring vacation. The location is perfect, we loved the view of the ocean from the deck and being just steps away from the beach. The condo is cozy and had everything we needed to feel at home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals. When we wanted to eat out, there were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. Our only complaint was that the check in process could have been……

“We had a wonderful stay at this property in Kill Devil Hills. The owner/manager Joe and his wife were very responsive to our requests and went above and beyond in their hospitality. The place is right on the beach and decor inside gave it a great beach vibe. We will definitely be back there next time we’re in the Outer Banks!”

“This was our second visit and it was every bit as wonderful as the first time. Unfortunately there were no dolphin sightings but that was the only disappointment and was nothing to do with the home. Due to outside temperatures we had to fuss with the thermostat quite a bit, Vickie was fantastic with responding to our inquiries.”

“I have not had a vacation in 20 years and have a very hectic lifestyle. This was a birthday present to myself. I wanted to be near things as the efficiency did not have a kitchen but did not want to be around people. I took my dogs and just wanted a relaxing time. There was a book kiosk in the neighborhood and I thoroughly enjoyed that as well as the walking/bike path along the bay. I must have gone at the perfect time as there wasn't any real traffic early in the morning and just a small amount……

“If you’re thinking about renting this house, do it! You will not be disappointed! Like the other reviews mentioned, this house is so clean. The seller always responded within minutes of sending a message. One bedroom with king bed, one bathroom and laundry room are down stairs. The other 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and living room are upstairs. The seller has bistro lights around porch rails so arriving after dark helped us see. I will rent again!”

“Cottage has an open layout which makes it feel bigger. Fenced in yard and the big front porch were perfect for our dogs. Cottage is in a great location, across from beach entrance. First time in Nags Head and loved it! Would rent here again!”

“This studio apartment had everything we needed and extra. Diane was great to communicate with and eager to make sure we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen worked well for our short stay. Even though there are no windows there is lots of lighting and mirrors. It was an easy walk to the beach. If you want a view of the ocean this isn’t the place for you, however.”

“Property was nice, updated, and furnishings were comfortable. Is in a good location for the price, but you need to drive to access the beach. Overall the house was clean except for some missed stains on the baseboards in the living and bathroom. Encountered a roach the first night and the management company quickly had pest control out to resolve the issue.”

“Beautiful property and access to the beach. The pools were clean. The breakfast was great (waffles, muffins, cereal, eggs, bacon/sausage, coffee/juice). Unfortunately, our room by the pool had a constant leak through the concrete at the front of the room. The floor/carpeting near the door was constantly soaked and never dried. Room smelt like chlorine and the air was very humid even with A/C on. Room 122. Hopefully they will fix the leak because the mould will continue to spread, I imagine. The……
