"Rhiannon we had such a great time during our stay! The home had everything we needed — super comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. Mornings with coffee by the river was so peaceful, and we loved ending the day with a cozy bonfire at night. We had family members that were showing their cars at Mayhem 11 so the car show was really fun. We went a couple of times to a very nice restaurant called Tacos Tequila in Bourbonnais. Had breakfast at a wonderful place called Momence Cafe. We were lucky to go...

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orland Park - Mokena by IHG

8/10 Good

"This was my 3rd stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Mokena, Il., staying 2 nights. Checked in Friday, 10/2/26. When I made my reservations, I requested since I am a senior, that I get a room on the first floor near an exit door. I was told there weren't any rooms on the 1st floor and I was given a room on the 4th floor away from the elevator. I went out Saturday morning, 10/3/26 and didn't return until evening. When I opened the door to room 409, the bed was not made up, waste paper baskets weren't emptied and used towels were still in on the floor in front of the shower. I went down to the front desk, the same employee that checked me in on Friday, was on duty Saturday night. I told her that my room was not made up and she said she was sorry, the housekeeping person (not exact words) must have called off. I asked for 2 towels and one washcloth, which I was given. This front desk employee should be put in a high sales position within Holiday Inn Express. She's very very good. I misplaced my reservation paperwork from when I booked online (shame on me) on what the cost was to be for 2 days, but when I paid, the amount I believe was higher than I remember. I've always requested a 1st floor room but the 2nd time I booked, I was given a 2nd floor room and this 3rd time I was given a 4th floor room. Just disappointed with my stay this time. For the amount of money a room costs, there should not have been an issue with room cleaned and or room floor."

Quality Inn & Suites Matteson near I-57

8/10 Good

"I dont think this hotel liked that we book thru hotels.com. We were put in the top floor in the room furthest from the elevator. They were not full in any way shape or form. We’d come from a long trip and needed to use the restrooms before we checked in and they had them locked so we couldn’t. The place smelled from something odd! Front desk is not the friendliest. The room looked pretty worn and the bad smell was even in our room. We didn’t even try the breakfast, we went to McDonalds down the road! We may have to stay around there again and will absolutely not stay there again."

10/10 Excellent

"The beds were very comfortable and it was a very beautiful neighborhood!! Got to stop by garage sales around town. The hosts were quick in responding and very kind! I will definitely stay again when I need to be in area."
