"We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time, but the staff worked hard to allow us into the room early. Upon return to our room after dinner, there was a terrible smell in the bathroom (as the extractor was blowing air in!), however Darrell noted the issue carefully for their maintenance team and moved us to another room immediately. "We liked the hotel very much. Firstly an excellent value for money, great location, wonderfull staff, cleanliness. Hotel has fantastic leisure facilities incuding lovely swimming pool. Lastly, the restaurant! Excellent choice on the menu and the superb quality. Our dinner and breakfast was fantastic. The only but very small negative we found was that our room was very hot despite the open windows. Other than that 11out of 10. "

Cottage room are very nice with own fire plce and comfy bed but smells old and damp would be nice to have some better ventilation there. Same as swimming pool and jacuzzi nice pool but very shallow, once you in jacuzzi is hard to breathe due to chlorine and bad ventilation. Pet friendly but if you with a pet you have only option to stay in the cottage...
