Foremost friendly and helpful staff make this place a recommendation. Rooms were clean and fitted with coffee makers, new TVs, Wifi Easy parking too. It's a one hour drive to Key West. The Bahia Honda State Park is 20 minutes south down the road an recommended

Coconut Cay is a beautifully updated older motel. The bed and pillows were comfortable as were the cotton sheets. We slept great! Having kayaks and bikes available to use was nice. No breakfast, but McDonald's is nearby.

Large clean room, would be nice to have a full length mirror in the room beside the one over the sink. The housekeeping ladies were very pleasant. Was told there are free water sport equipments to borrow, however we didn’t use them. The check-in staff lacks personality.

Very nice. Clean room. Was by the canal. We saw a few manatees in the canal. We also had chicken by our back patio in the late afternoon and they came back to visit in the morning which was cool. 😊 🐓 The lady at the front desk was nice. They had coffee, tea, and hot cocoa in the front entrance which was nice since it was cold when we were there. If I stayed again I would recommend a room on the canal. We were by the road but it was fine since we could walk over there.

The staff were very professional and helpful. We asked if there was a room further back in the property and they accommodated our request. The rooms were clean and they provided clean towels daily, even Thanksgiving day! The amenities were all available such as kayaks, bikes, etc.

Stayed 1 night. Overall a nice place to stay. The lady at checkout was quite helpful and very friendly. Pros: Room was spacious with small fridge and microwave. Was able to take the complimentary kayak to the canal and the bikes to the nearby park. Cons: Bed not comfortable, found it too soft. Have more and better quality towels. No table to place food items near fridge/microwave.
