「Nice hotel and staff the economy rooms0 are small and dated no refrigerator or microwave you have to walk to the lobby to get ice but other than that a good hotel to stay and the free shuttle and boat to big French key definitely a plus」

「If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.」

However, I do feel the hotel needs more lighting in the area and some minor repairs to the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect. 「There is construction going on the 3rd floor and I was given a room right next to it. I booked to have a peaceful night stay before my flight in the morning and I was not able to get any rest. The room itself is clean. There was also some guy sleeping in the construction area/hallway which scared me as I was the only one on this floor and I heard movement in the night and saw him. The security talked to him but I’m not sure if he just lives there in the hallway? Didn’t feel safe as a solo woman....
